Beautiful colors, Lilo. When I saw the thin sliver of moon last night, I was startled, b/c it was so big and hanging so low in te western sky and it was only about eight o'clock. If it was setting and had been overhead all day, I definitely missed it! Maggie. my cat. slept on my chest for 30minutes around 2 a.m., kept me warm, but she was heavy! :)

So glad you posted it on GW, Ingrid. It is such an awesome picture! I must repeat what I posted to Konrad. I love to see the pics you take. You seem to catch the essence of your subject, be it moon or bunny, perfectly. Thank you for posting your pics on here as well as FB. Much appreciated. Terry, when I saw this pic on the weather channel I had to let Ingrid know since I had already seen it on FB. My DH has the weather channel on 24/7, or as I posted on FB, once a farmer, always a farmer. Lol! Ginny :)

I'll trade you some of our Colorado Sunshine for some of your Idaho Precipitation! ;-) It was 78 on the "warm" side of my yard yesterday--70 on the "cool" side! (I have one thermometer in the shade on the sun side, and one next to the house on the shade side!) And it only went down to 37 last nite! The problem down here would have been keeping it cool enough rather than keeping it warm enough! I'm still having a problem wrapping my head around this "winter" that will be ending in a few hours! Isn't a lot of the stuff you start the kind of things that can take pretty cold temps overnite, Digit? Onions certainly can, and don't you usually start snaps and lettuce and stuff like that? If it's hardened off, I wouldn't worry about stuff like that getting down to a little below freezing. That might make enough room in the house for the stuff that really does need the warm! Maybe I just don't remember exactly what ALL you start---since you DO start a LOT!!! I'm always blown away when you start posting about all the stuff you're starting---and how much you have over sumer! I always kinda go: He's not REALLY old! He's just funnin' us! As soon as you figure out how to ship some of that water down here, I'll pack up and ship some of our sunshine (and DRY heat) up your way! ;-) Skybird

My downstairs neighbor just knocked on my door and told me she'd just had a conversation with the maintenance guy who empties our trash every morning. She told him how nasty it was for "someone" to have stolen the Y-connector for the hose with the female half of my new quick connect. She told me he wouldn't look her in the eye, and told her he'd "look around" for it. I ain't holding my breath that it will reappear. But, in honor of my hosta pals here, I am going to go outside and take pictures, for your viewing pleasure, of my beautiful hostas, heuchies, and other plants. I want you to see that new border edging I laid down. It was worth all the sore muscles of today!
