Hi - I recently seeded, and was told I needed to run my sprinklers every day for 20 minutes. So, rather than mess with my regular schedule, I decided to use program B. I set the program A start times to OFF for all 4, and set up program B, with one start time, but...on the "days to water", it shows every day as "blank". no rain drop, no rain drop with a slash, just blank. If I hit the up arrow, it changes to a rain drop with a slash and advances to the next day, and down arrow switches it back to blank. never get a rain drop. is this right, is this going to work as I expect? (the manual doesn't mention blank, it only mentions rain drop or rain drop with slash!)

Hi Summersunshine, I dunno...it kinda looks like half and half. I just checked on Emaryllis.com and it looks like half and half. Tinkerbell seems to have very pronounced white stripes in the petals and sepals. Warm Regards, Fred

If you get a piece with a rhizome (root) attached it's possible that it will grow, but only if it is fresh and hasn't dried out. To grow from rhizome it's best to have a large, fresh piece, or better yet, a root ball. And if you succeed in growing from rhizome, it will take a number of years for it to size up. Best to have a whole division.

OK, I'm going to be honest here and tell you to step away from the catalogs and garden centers! You would do much better to wait for a growing season and actually SEE what the conditions are (and possibly tackle some of that overgrowth you mentioned), and then plant for the next season. I know it's hard to be patient, but that's the best way to avoid wasting your money and effort. Think how heartbroken you'd be if you guessed wrong and all your newly planted little ones struggled!
