+oM they do have some Heather that will work in alkaline soil. The Erica Carnea and I checked and this one is zone 4 hardy. I have a few other Ericas that work in alkaline but they are only zone 5 hardy. Probably iffy for you but do well for me in my neutral 6.8 clay soil. I have mine on a slope which I think is important. If you decide to try some let me know and I can give you a link where I got mine. Will if they ban you it's time for us all to leave. You do no more than keep us interested and coming back. There is another forum that would make us welcome. Cher

Thanks Carol! Tahitian Sunset consistently has at least one or two blooms. This photo shows the end of a recent full flush. TS didn't like her original spot last year and grew very little. She immediately responded to her new location which is only a few feet away but she's much happier. I give her extra water which I think she likes a lot. The bugs unfortunately love this rose too but they've eased up. I think you'll like her but she might be a spotty bloomer in her first year. I recommend that you pot her up and give her a try! Ann
