Thanks for all the comments! I like spending time out there, especially in the afternoons when it gets cooler. laura, I would like to be able to grow a lot of the tropical palms and plants. I've tried Crotons, and although they fly through the winter, they usually succumb to the dry heat, getting crispy, dry leaves. Southern AZ is a great place for succulents and cacti. I took a 75 mile hike through the Buenos Aires National Park between Tucson and the Mexican border last year and the native cacti are simply amazing to look at. It's truly exciting to walk through the "cactus forests" there.

Really nice pictures! I like that All American Tiger. I'm envious of all of these bloom pics!! I have some scapes, and one species one in bloom, but am getting anxious...

Jan, I wondered where you were and now I know. I can't fault you with that after all, he is the important one. Enjoy his presence and we'll be here when he goes again...Ellie

zookatie thanks for the coral bean cutting offer. I do want one but my rooting skills are not worth the postage. My success rate is below 10%, your cuttings will be better off with someone else. That plant looks like something hummingbirds would like. Is it? Hi Susie! I knew you would have some hibiscus. Have you patented any of your crosses yet? I've just begun to appreciate plumeria. One of my friends has an evergreen type she brought from the USVI. I hope to see it some day. Love your Aztec color, and it smells good too? double perfect. leahrenee scary looking dutchmans pipe flower :-), hope you get butterflies/caterpillars on your plants. Gold rims eat mine to the ground every year (but that's why I planted it). Evelyn Love all your pink plants/blossoms especially the caladium. Thanks everyone for your time to load photos. Appreciated. Denise
