Oh, I wanted a camphor tree so badly! Saw pix of big ones and they're beautiful. I wanted lots of broadleaf evergreens. But I could not find a camphor tree anywhere at any nursery. And now every inch of this yard is stuffed with trees. I'll keep my eyes out and buy a camphor sapling if something in here croaks. But I've got the biggest trees in the world (in their baby stage) and if they all live at this point this will be an incredible jungle, LOL Thanks bboy. Always wondered why camphor wasn't around. Guess Portland would push it zonally. Speaking of broadleaf evergreens, at a nursery we came across they have the biggest camellia we've ever seen, bigger than a house, with prolific little pink blossoms. We got a cutting, hoping it gets that large. It's finally established now and has gobs of buds. And the gigantic one is in full sun to boot! Lucky folk who can grow camphor trees. Nobody's guessed it on the forum where the Florida guy posted the question: What is this?

It is a Brassica (member of the cabbage family) and looks like broccoli to be specific - in which case it is planted far too close together. Did you buy broccoli or any other members of the cabbage family? They need to be between 1 - 3 feet apart depending on what they are.

Great ideas everybody! I've always wanted to order the PawPaw rose labels, but I think they would be a pain in the butt for me. After cleaning out my beds over the last few months, I can see it would not be a good idea to have those wires to have to deal with. It's already a nightmare, raking the pine needles out from around the roses and perennials. I can see I'd be yanking up the labels, or getting the rake all tangled in them. That's a bummer. I really like the rock or tile ideas. I'm going to have to look into finding something along that line that will work for me. I do have my roses mapped out on paper and lists written up with locations, etc. But with as many as I have, and as crammed as they are.... sometimes I can't remember who is who when I'm actually out there looking around.... until they bloom anyways.

its raining.. so i am not running out to compare.. but I THINK.. twist of lime is much less wide.. like a twisted piece of lime that looks nothing like my scooter ... and based on that angle.. i am not sure about your sagae dx but then again.. recently divided .... immature plants do weird things .. and they might mature into what you think they are ... ken
