carrington beige for basement?

The guy drywalling and painting our basement called last night to say he needed the paint colour this morning. Yikes! Doesn't he know this is usually a 3 week process for me involving at least 12 paint samples and many gardenweb consultaions?

I think I have decided on Carrington beige. I want a greige but it has to be light as we have almost no natural light down there. Anyone used it in a low light room. some pics I see online it look beige and others grey - I want it to read somewhat grey. I don't want brown. Thoughts?

Because you can see right through my kitchen into dining room and living room I just thought it would be good to have colours that co-ordinated well because its a small area. So I thought neutrals would work well. Thats why I was considering what would work well with the BM Carrington Beige maybe just a shade darker. I had considered doing the kitchen in the carrington beige but because my cupboards and counter top are white thought maybe a bit more contrast would work better. Thanks for any suggestions.

Need help with paint color for my living room. This room has high ceilings that go the upstairs hallway. The colors from left to right are: Krisp Khaki, center-shaker beige and right-carrington beige. I chosen to accent some read from the rooster pillow. This is a townhouse. hilltop...I got the fabric at a large, local discount fabric warehouse so have no information on it. ...i love polka dots. Bat2....thanks to nosoccer I just realized we have the same colors....my kitchen is gold and my LR and DR are gray. Nosoccer....if you're interested...my kitchen is BM Bridgewater Tan @75%....similar to Sandy Brown. My LR is London Fog, DR is on same chip but a bit darker-- Plymouth Rock.
