Pale warm green paint color for a dark guest bedroom?
Comments (7)I was thinking Saybrook sage or grecian green by Benjamin moore (only brand of paint I'm very familiar with). I am not sure if these are necessarily warm, I've always had a hard time deciphering between warm and cool unless it's very obvious. They might be more gray than you'd like. If so then check out Paridot and Spring green in this link http://www.ellenkennon.com/naturespalette.htm I would think a warm green would have more yellow in it than blue. I hope the link below can help you out! Here is a link that might be useful: Shades of green...See MoreI chose pink drapes for a guest bedroom, grr!! - Need color advic
Comments (66)I erroneously selected a outwardly pink color for my attic office and when I returned home that night I hated it. My painter suggested one of BMs whites with pink undertone - Atrium white - and it was perfect. Should have checked with him BEFORE he painted as he was back changing it the next day. The point I am trying to make is that if you go for a pink, the most subtle color on a strip may end up being too much. Such was the case with my first choice which ended up looking like Pepto Bismol. Sue...See MorePeachy-pink paint for master bedroom?
Comments (39)The room is so small it's hard to get a photograph of much. I'll try to put together a layout. Here are some of the items I have for the room. I'm not opposed to getting rid or replacing the furniture, I do want to see if it might work together first. The white IKEA dresser and desk have silver knobs. I'm also not committed to the velvet drapes. For artwork I have some black and white photos of my kids, or I was thinking of some inexpensive prints maybe of vintage vogue magazine covers or Erte. The IKEA hemnes secretary cabinet will house my sewing machine so I'm leaning towards fashioned themed artwork (two prints max). I don't want the room to look like a teen girls though, with thre blush tones and artwork....See MoreNeed help with paint color please for guest bedroom/bath
Comments (27)Continuing the edge combe grey into the bedroom and bath would give you a brighter room and a neutral backdrop to tie the spaces together. Then your art and linens would add the color which you could easily change. You could pick a shade darker off the paint chip if you didnt want the hall, bath and bedroom all the exact same grey. Do use bright or saturated hues in decor if you paint the walls all neutral....See Morebronwynsmom
