You guys are the best support group ever. Answers to your questions: -The bathroom is 8' wide and 10' long. -The paint is actually a light olive green, not yellow. It's Valspar (Lowe's) Willow Wind, and the toilet room is a shade lighter on the color card. -The soap & toothbrush holders are either from Target or BB&B. -The lam beam was calculated by the truss company we bought it from. We told them the span and the load and they told us what we needed. We didn't have to document the calculations or anything to the inspector, but he did check it out before we drywalled. Mr. Weedy is not in the biz (he fixes machines for a living), but I found him an article in Fine Homebuilding that showed how to replace a LB wall with a flush beam and he went to town in the attic. stacey: If you can believe it, the 20x20 was actually originally a sitting area off the 13x26 master bedroom that the POs used for an office. We walled it off, cut a new bedroom door, and proceeded with our chopping from there. We kept our 13x26 bedroom, though. :-) pepperidge: (long sigh). Actually I just bought a business a few months ago, so our remodeling pace has slowed a bit. We've only got 3 rooms to go, but we're going at a relative glacial speed. No one-week kitchen overhauls in our foreseeable future.

Monica, Thanks for the prompt reply, and I will try Wave Plumbing. After I posted last evening I went on the net and found a place or two. I found a Vent/Heater for $180, but Vent/Heat/Light was around $230.00. You must have the Vent/Heater product for about $170. Thanks also for the ballpark on the custom cabinet-making. I understand your chagrin over the heated floors. I am currently battling that decision and I am gun-shy because of Flyleft's and Codnuggets' recent problems. I was also strongly considering the Thermasoft product because, with the current sale, it was coming in at about half price of SunTouch. Always a decision! And I, too, am laughing out loud at a 1-month projection. However, I am pretty close to the end, though (after a nearly 4-year lay-off in the project's completion). However, 4 years ago, I didn't know about heated floors, Kerdi showers, heated towel racks, and I thought the Nutone vent was as good as the Panasonic. I've got all you "loverly" new friends on this forum to thank for that! So how many more months do you think I should add to my projection, Grammuffy? :)) I'm also concerned about not driving my "good-guy" contractor and his workers to drink with all my "new-fangled ideas" about Kerdi and stuff. No contractor in sunny, humid Houston ever even heard of heated floors! I would just like the luxury of keeping my little footsies nice and toasty on the 3 days of winter we have each year. Can't help you with photos of the new color, but I have to say I'm surprised to hear that you couldn't see the bottom of the Prism Blue pool. We have Black Onyx Pebble Sheen® and have no problems seeing the bottom of our pool (except in the middle of the night without the pool light on). Pebble Sheen® is "smoother" than Pebble Tec®. Neither is sharp or rough (or should I say, neither of them should be sharp or rough). The pebbles in Pebble Sheen® are smaller than the pebbles in Pebble Tec®, and the Pebble Sheen® surface is buffed (the Pebble Tec® is not) during the acid wash phase. A Pebble Sheen® surface should be very much like that of a basketball or football -- you feel bumps/texture but no roughness. Are you sure your neighbor has genuine Pebble Sheen® and not another brand's mini pebble and they just refer to it as Pebble Sheen®?

I don't think I've found one I don't like. When my mother was failing and in a wheelchair, we used to go in there and have a ball smelling every one and choosing what we wanted to buy. Buy 3 get one free or whatever it was. It is difficult to provide a lot of fun for an elderly person in a wheelchair, but we surely did enjoy BB Works. If you like the smell of almonds, try Kiehl's Deluxe Hand and Body Lotion. It's a little like old fashioned Jergens.
