Saw your post about loving the book by Gary Paulsen, Winterdance. This has me intrigued... do you think it would it be appropriate to use as a "read-aloud" to middle school students? We are pushing reading at our school(there's a novel idea!!) and are "encouraged" to do so many minutes of a read-aloud each day....I want to read something that not only am I interested in but would also keep their attention (which is sometimes about the attention span of a gnat!!!)
