Here is a picture with the throw. The accent chair has a beige herringbone fabric. I've been looking at some of the simple velvet pillows at West Elm.

My absolute favorite throws are Denali, 60X70 They also come in 50X60). They are thick and soft, big enough! None of that obnoxious fringe on the end that gets into your mouth when you're trying to actually curl up under one to read or watch TV or nap. They come in all kinds of patterns, including..voila (see pic)! They are not cheap, though. I couldn't find a decent throw for the life of me ⦠other than $300/$400 Irish wool and Cashmere throws!â¦until I found my Denali.
For pillows (which I've always found to be difficult on leather sofas because they slip off so easily!), I would go to HomeGoods and see what they've got. They usually have a nice selection of pillows.

I like all you have done...new pillows, throw and cowhide rug. I know you probably use the round ottomans to put your feet on, but I do not like the look of them in front of the couch. Could you put one beside the chair and one at the end of the couch (sort of like end tables) and find a nice square storage ottoman or a coffee table to put in front of the couch? I know you were asking about pillows and throws and I think you have accomplished a very nice looking job of that.

I think your LR looks nice and I'd only advise you to use one of the tan pillows at each end of the sofa. I like the dragon one on the chair but not on the sofa.

What are your accent colors? I see a bit of red in the dragon pillow that could be used more extensively, perhaps in another couple of pillows to be used alternatively to the tan ones. Other than that I only see a lime green but think that is a highchair - correct? So that's not one of your accent colors - altho *could* be with your neutral scheme! :D.

An observation which you can ignore but I think your pillows may be a tad too small. I make the same mistake and am planning some larger ones myself. Also other shapes of pillows are often more effective, especially the longer narrow 'lumbar' pillows. Just something to think about. Look at lots of pics online to see what you prefer.

It's a good idea to have other pillows (really only all you need are extra covers) to use seasonally as they can quickly, easily, and often inexpensively change the look of your room.

I also like the look that you have, very cozy. Are you trying to incorporate more color (as with the dragon pillow) or do you prefer the earth tones (as with the velvet pillows)? I am going through a similar decision as I have a leather sofa in a similar color, and am planning on purchasing a chair a similar color. On the positive side, such a neutral palatte looks great with many different colors from blues to yellows to reds.

I think that with the fur throw, rug and animal look on the 2 pillows you have too much "animal" going on. You need a different texture, maybe a solid cable knit. Go to a store such as Home Goods where you can buy several different pillows and return the ones that don't work. Keep the patterned pillow on the chair. You have a really nice look started.
