Question for those of you who have pullout fillers (spice/etc)

Are the insides of your pullout fillers "finished"? And if so, who finished them? I have 2 rev-a-shelf 3" pullout fillers (one spice and one utensil) installed on either side of my range. When they're open, the wood is unfinished, neither painted nor stained on top, sides, anywhere. The wood portions of the pullouts have pencil markings on them and generally look funny to me the way they are,but maybe it's just me being fussy. Should my cabinet installers have "finished" these by painting them to match cabs? Or do people leave them unfinished, and if I want it finished is it my responsibility? The cabinet installers do need to come back to finish a few other things in the new kitchen, but painting the pullouts was not on their list of remaining items to complete.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
