Does anyone have this Carrington Court chair?
Comments (12)juddgirl - I've gone back and forth on the table height too! We have an antique oak clawfoot table with a big leaf in it so when hubby has his game group over they have lots of room to spread out. But the table is also in front of the picture windows which go almost to the ground so I would love to have a lower profile in there, just a pair of chairs with a low table. DH says he's okay either way but I fear he might not feel the same way once the table was gone. But comfort is a big deal too because when they're gaming, they're here for 8-10 hours. I'm thinking I might just order two chairs to see if I like them and then I can always order two more. We really only "need" two but I like the look of four....See MoreShout out to...
Comments (7)Yay! I bought my beloved kitchen stools there and had a great experience. (I provided my own fabric and specified a stain, as well). Please post a picture or two of your new chair! These stools are amazingly comfortable and the microfiber fabric we selected makes clean-up a breeze. Plus, they are 26" high, which I prefer. In the leather they provided: Our stools:...See MoreWho sells a good quality Parsons chair???
Comments (6)What is your definition of "decent price"? Also faux leather or bi-cast leather is different than real leather. Overstock has quite a few bicast or leatherette chairs. They have good shipping and the reviews are helpful. These would be your discount price chairs since they're often in sets of two. http://www.overstock.com/parson-leather-chair,/k,/results.html?sort=Avg.%20Customer%20Review&searchtype=Header My daughter purchased from Arhaus before, I think she got the Capris side chair. The Aiden chair is another to look at. Arhaus doesn't have anything specifically called Parsons chair - just side chair. http://www.arhaus.com/furniture/dining-room-furniture/dining-room-chairs/ Another source that I've heard highly mentioned on multiple decorating sites is Carrington Court Direct. But these will be all leather and likely last a much longer time. http://www.carringtoncourtdirect.com/index.cfm...See MoreHow can I make this TV wall look better?
Comments (69)We have a rainy day here so I've been playing....beginning to think maybe less IS more: I moved the other two prints and put them on the walls beside the FP. I am warming up to this now; maybe I was used to having four prints, and now that they are still in the room, it maintains the continuity I was used to. And......back to the chairs; a pair of these PB chairs has been hiding in the recesses of our CL: Pottery Barn Calais chair in leather They are almost brand new so not exactly a fire sale price; they are asking $500 for the pair. I think that's a little high, but assuming the price was right, do you think they would finish things off well? Or should I leave well enough alone? I'd purchase them only if they are more comfortable than what I have, and I won't know that until I see them. I can't test the link until I post, but in case it doesn't show the right one, the CL chairs are brown leather with espresso stain legs. I still really like the sconces but wonder if this is just as nice in some ways. I am now looking at my FP and wondering if the sconces would look good on either side of my mirror! But, no worries, that will have to wait for another day, lol!...See MoreRelated Professionals
