Looking for a good creamy beige/off-white to go with this trim...

I'm so used to working with white trim; this orangey stained trim has me perplexed. Walls are currently Navajo White but we're looking for something just a big darker/warmer. A lot of the colors I'm looking at so far just look muddy next to this trim color. Does anyone have trim color like this with a good beigey wall color? Really don't want anything yellowy.

I have that same trim... and that same problem. It's a chore, isn't it? Contrary to white, the trim is a COLOR and has to be considered when doing the room. I'm *this* close to just painting mine... good luck!

creekylis, please don't paint your trim if it looks like that! I love that beautiful wood trim and would kill to have it.
Have you looked at Believable Buff or maybe Netsuke or even Muslin? Also SW has a bunch of new colors now that are available on larger cards and I think a lot easier to envision. than from those little strips.

Needing to make a decision on my trim (it's fairly large - craftsman style) and my ceilings. At my old house I used SW Designer White. I'm being steered towards Pratt & Lambert "chalk gray". The lady suggesting this said it is a very warm, creamy color. I did get a swatch and it's warm but I'm worried that it's such a muted color that I won't have the traditional popping of white that I am so use to. Should your ceilings and wood trim even "pop" ? Is that look out of date? Anyone have another suggestion or is this a good choice - the rest of the house will be pretty neutral - camels, tans and some green.

I would just change the sheen unless you want more contrast. I would not use White Opulence in this situation because they are both too close but too different. It would be just "off" in that head scratching way. Now I do know White Opulence very well,as I've used it for all my trim and all the kitchen cabs in this house.

I finally found a color I can live with, Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige and it’s doesn’t make my trim look yellow at all. The lighting was terrible when I took the pictures. I wish I would’ve taken a before & after in the dining room. This color pulls a little bit of purple gray in the dining room & a little blue gray in the foyer. I think it changes based on the environment.
