Oh, one of the moms on this forum is a homeschooler and she has similar if not the very same cards.

I think she propped them on a chair rail.

You could also buy cheap diploma frames (very flimsy), and hang them from a picture rail.

Another possibility is to make color copies of the cards and mod podge them to something light weight like masonite or super thin ply.

You could also, and this is maybe more intensive than anything you likely want to do, but it would be cute, make a fabric flag banner with fabric on one side and netting on the other and slip the cards in and just string them up along the ceiling.

My kids made lovely photo holders like this using felt.

It was very cute.

I would check out the Command strips.... These are supposed to be easy to use and do no damage...

I had those cards from Land of Nod. Actually I think I bought them from Hanna Andersson (same ones though) but never figured out how to hang them, and wound up giving them away as my youngest is 7. I'm anxious to see how you hang them!

I had an idea - Ikea has a small clothesline and tiny clothespins in their children's section. I thought of doing that somehow but couldn't figure out how to do it without making the room look too cluttered.

I have some thin bath foam cutouts of sea animals that I hung on the walls in my daughter's room. Believe it or not, I used hot glue.

It didn't damage the walls at all, but it did stick to the foam. When I've taken them down to move them, the side of the foam that had glue on it was pretty ripped up, but you can't tell once they're back on the wall. I don't know if you plan to re-use the cards as something other than wall decorations, but I know for a fact that hot glue works great on the wall.

I have them in my school room and I did try to prop them on a piece of molding, but they wouldn't stay. So I went and got some double sided command squares and they are still sticking quite nicely!!

We put them up higher on the wall right up where you'd put a wallpaper border. I will try and post a picture tomorrow.

I had those same cards in my daughter's room for a while (couple of years). I used this stuff, can't remember what it's called but it's blue and almost the consistency of Silly Putty. You just put a small ball of the stuff on the card (I put a tiny bit on each corner) and stick it on the wall. I had a chair rail in the room so I put them above the chair rail, but not in a long horizontal row. I put them up in a grid pattern, so it looked almost like one big piece of art on the wall. It ended up being maybe 4' square.

Another thought is to use clothespins to hang them on some type of line.

LOL!! Me too! It was such a waste of space before. We NEVER ate in there. Now it's the most used room in the house!! We just went out last night and got a bunch of new board games since it's soooooooooo frigid here and we're getting stir crazy. We stayed up late playing Connect Four! Remember that game???? So much fun!!

To the OP: have fun in your new space! These wall cards were a great addition for us. My preschooler is learning to read and when she's spelling something, she can just look up on the wall to help her remember what a 'd' looks like! I LOVE Land of Nod. Actually, those cards are made my the toy company Eeboo and they have a whole separate site of their own you may want to investigate!! Cute stuff!

Thanks everyone so much! What great ideas. I love the clothspin idea but I'm thinking if I get some of that command poster strip stuff, hopefully that will work. I will have to figure out how to make it level as we don't have any chair rails in our house. I will post a picture when I figure it out. I am so not creative which is why I love Land of Nod and Pottery Barn. You can look at the rooms and get some great ideas. My whole house if very neutral in color so I was excited to paint this playroom green. It's really fun. Now if my 2.5 year old would actually play in there so I could get something done. Lol!

Citymom-I love your dining room makeover! I know what you mean about never using it. Dh & I were just talking about converting ours to something more useful. We never use it! Thanks so much for posting your pics. It looks great!

I used these Land of Nod cards in my son's room and stuck them to the wall with Ticky Tack. (that sticky putty-like stuff they used to use at school to put up kids' artwork and posters)

It worked great, but later on I found the 3M Command Strips with velcro, and I think I would use those instead. The Ticky Tack didn't damage my walls, but in some places it was kind of hard to get off. My cards were laminated, so the Ticky Tack just popped right off the back of them. Anyway, they looked really cute, he has a lot of vintage stuff in his room and the cards fit right in. I love Land of Nod, too, I just got some of the Good Egg wire baskets and they are awesome for clutter... I mean... TOYS.
