Cambria countertop pictures

From reading the quartz countertops posting, I'm wondering: Does anyone have pictures of Chatham or Burton Brown that they have used in their kitchens? We like both but would like to see more pics than are on the Cambria website....FWIW, we have lighter cherry cabinets and black appliances/pulls. Thanks!

redhare-funny you ask because cpanther also asked that on another thread and yes, i have the cambria chatham and will be posting pics on a new thread; just have to figure out how to do it :) asking DH for assist so hopefully i will get them up soon

BTW you can request up to 3 free samples from Cambria, I did and it helped with decision making

I'm so excited that i figured it all out, MYSELF!

Hope this helps in your decision making, this was a stressor for me since the pics at the website were pretty skewed and I only had a 3"x3" sample to decide. That's why I really wanted to get these up so you could see them for *real*

Thynes! Thanks so much for giving me the exact name and number for your tile. I had seen your expanded kitchen post and couldn't find the exact tile. You have such a lovely kitchen, so warm and welcoming and the tile really makes a statement. I also see they only have one USA distributor. Your tile in your kitchen looks totally different than on the website..were you able to get a sample or see the tile in a store? I've sent Saltillo an email as well..so we shall see. When I went to Spain 18 years ago for my honeymoon, we spent a good deal of time in Barcelona chasing down Gaudi projects. Did you know that besides the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and the apartment building in your blog, there is a park that he designed? And also benches scattered around the city. Lamp posts. It got a little ridiculous, but my DH is a devoted fan. On the other hand, 18 years ago no one in Spain would have ever been able to direct me to a vegan restaurant. What?! No meat? Muy loco! Spain, as I came to understand, is still in the throes of a deep love affair with the pig and all it provides. The marble looked very pretty, too. ;-)

It looks very fresh and new. You can absolutely tie them together well and it will look fabulous. I know how hard it is to have a vision in your head, and then how sad it is when what you end up with doesn't match the picture in your head. But I'd recommend trying to regain some perspective. No one has died, it's done well, and it's going to be beautiful. There is no way in heck I'd pay money to rip that out and start over. However everyone is different with money and I'm sort-of cheap. I save forever for major projects like this and I've learned one has to be willing to roll with the punches on a major reno. Stuff always takes longer, costs more, and looks a little different than what I saw in my head....

Thanks! It's so difficult only seeing the 3"x3" sample (my store let me borrow a whole box of samples), and it even looks different from the larger tile at the store! Your countertops look great!

my "Oxford" Cambria countertop is ugly! I'm having it replaced with granite. What a terrible and expensive mistake I made! I wish I knew about the resin pooling. No one told me.

the poster's countertop picture is beautiful! It looks just like why I ordered from cambria. What I got are a couple large orange blobs on my top. I had another installer look at it and he called it "extreme resin pooling". I wish I knew that could happen before I decided to buy it!

We had Cambria Cranbrook from their quarry collection installed in our kitchen and 3 bath vanities. It was highly recommended that we examine the slabs before they cut into it. Of the two slabs, there was one spot of "resin pooling" that we asked that they template around. It's only been 5 weeks, but we're very happy our counters.

I wish someone warned me about the resin pooling. I never would've bought if I knew how unsightly it would look....$1500 later. Good thing I only did the island. Having it removed will sting but at least it wasn't my entire kitchen.

We selected Cambria Burton Brown and have been very happy with the decision. We do not have any evidence of the "resin pooling" mentioned by old1880home. It's pretty much worry free - and cleans up beautifully. Interestingly enough, the Burton Brown is not the color we were drawn to when we first looked at samples. As we progressed with other decisions on cabinets, we decided that the Burton Brown pulled in the reddish-brown tones of our cherry cabinets with the black enamel painted cabinets of the island.
