Lake Girl, BM Gray Wisp is the 'official' equivalent to Silver Sage. Quiet Moments is a few shades lighter on the same color card, so you already get SS lite, so to speak. Since that was still too dark for me, I then had the Quiet Moments mixed at half strength. The only pictures I have are not very good, but here are several views of my walls. First up, my foyer ceiling--you can see the walls with white contrast trim in this shot; the ceiling is a VERY custom mix of QM light light light done by the wizard at my local paint store. First- Silver Sage doesn't necessarily look fully green in all applications/lighting/exposures. It's a beautiful color but a bit of a chameleon. The mistake a lot of people make is expecting it to look in their homes like it does in the RH store. You have to keep two things in mind-the trim color RH uses is a super bright pure white, and most RH stores have little or no natural light and are awash in bright can lights. It's one of those colors that you really have to sample as much as you may love it in the store. Second- RH is in the process of repainting all of their stores in a color called Slate. It's a really nice chalky gray but it's nothing like Silver Sage. Some people wouldn't want to use a "signature color" like SS now that it's no longer RH's "signature color". Does it 'date' the color? I dunno, but I thought you would like to know that information. If you do end up going with SS I think Latte would be a nice complimentary color. Last-don't use RH paint.It's awful. This opinion is based on both my personal experience and the opinions of many on this board that are way more knowledgable than me. Have the colors mixed in another brand. For what RH paint costs ($38/gallon) you can get Benjamin Moore Regal which is FAR superior. The Benjamin Moore colors that match Silver Sage and Latte are Grey Wisp CC1570 (Silver Sage) and Crisp Khaki 234 (Latte). Good luck!

I ordered a bunch of RH samples on-line and tried them on my bedroom walls. I was going to use RH Seafoam because it appeared very pale blue in my sunroom. In my bedroom it appeared very light and grey. I tried SS and like it although it appears more blue than green. I painted the sample paint on various walls to see how it looked under different light. It changes so dramatically I couldn't tell which paint it was (I had tried Light Silver Sage, Silver Sage, Atmosphere, and Sea Foam. I've settled on the SS but am concerned how different it appears on different walls.

I LOVE white on white bedrooms. Think texture, e.g. faux fur throw or lambskin fur on the floor (Costco is selling them for 99.00 in the warehouse right now); linen or maybe velvet drapes (IKEA -- either their linen or they have the Sanela velvet now in white, too); maybe some faux wood or bamboo blinds. Art work. Maybe some baskets. Nightstand and table. You can also add some plants, either green leafy or orchids. They thrive in my bathroom. For the bathroom. I love silver sage or maybe a slight blue, like BM Quiet Moments or Healing Aloe. I'd go relatively dark with the vanity. Oh, and what were you planning for the shower curtain? Maybe a patterned white or a white with a pastel ribbon design.
