We have a local pediatrician that does di-chro jewelry. He wears pins and stuff everyday at work and has given lots of it to his nurses and receptionists, who also wear it frequently. He gets lots of questions about the jewelry, and people always want to know where he gets it (most of what he wears is very whimsical). Several years ago he began to have an open house at his own home in early December to sell his jewelry (he and his daughter make it all). They invited their co-workers and friends and just served cookies, crackers, cheese, and punch. They told everyone to bring friends. Every year it has grown and last year they probably had a few hundred people go through their doors. I love his stuff and do lots of gift buying there every year, buying about 20 pieces per year. They now have picture frames, serving utensils, sculptures, and lots of jewelry priced mostly from $10-100, but some a little more. People get there early, waiting outside, to get first pick of everything. Most everyone there purchases at least $100 or more. I get compliments on his jewelry all year long and tell people where it comes from and they ask how they can get invited to this "exclusive" party. I just tell them to call his clinic and they will give them the date and time.

This happened to me years ago and although it’s an old thread, I wanted to comment in case it help anyone. I experienced the same symptoms as most on this thread- I went to see all kinds of specialists but when I finally went to my general doctor, he fixed me. Literally made a difference in 15 min. He is a general practitioner but also certified to do manipulations which is different than a chiropractor. He did tests to see if I may have MS or carpel tunnel. But those target specific fingers. He then made me stand up and checked my back. BOOM! I had three ribs out of place. Finally after 6+ months of my right hand tingling and bruising, I had an answer. Dislocated ribs sometimes don’t cause pain BUT if they pinch the right nerve, it can cause all the symptoms to your arm and fingers. Popped blood vessels etc. he adjusted me (again, different from a chiropractor) and within 15 min I felt relief in my arm hand and fingers. Now, anytime I feel tingling, I go see him and sure enough, my rib is out. People can displace ribs with a sneeze. Sometimes it causes pain and other times you can’t even tell. A miracle for me.

We had that problem with our previous pool. We noticed some water in our planter where our sheer descent was and contracted our PB. They came out and the problem for us was our main water pipe going to the sheer descent wasn't glued so the fitting came off. They just glued it properly and we never had a problem with it again. I would think if they have been out there 10 times that they would have checked all your pipes and fittings. Have you spoken with the construction manager?? That's crazy that you are still having a problem....

I have one. She is very, very laid back. Almost like a cat. From what I've read they will often have a touchy spot on their back, in front of their tail. She does for sure. I'm sure there are plenty of Bichons that like to be picked up but she isn't one of those because of her back. I have her groomed once every two or three months and hardly ever have to brush her. She doesn't shed at all, which I love and luckily, she doesn't mat either. In fact, her hair is rather thin compared to my toy poodle. She is pink skinned and does sunburn in the summer. She was difficult to house train, omg, she was stubborn but she finally learned completely after a couple years. I read that Bichons are commonly hard to house train. Don't know why, they just are. As with any dog, there are those Bichons who defy the stereo type. I would suggest they go to a Bichon Frise web site or forum for the best view of the breed.
