I agree that the performance at the beginning was pretty awful, the choreography was cheesy too. I thought most of them just looked silly.

I think Kelly is fine with a few curves. Too many of todays artists are too thin.

I like the new "twist" and I agree with the judges that neither of the 2 contestants that went home last night deserved to be saved.

I think the judges made the right call by sending both of those contestants home. Does anyone know what type of music they're singing next week?

All of their group performances have been bad in my opinion. You can totally tell they're lip synching. I do think it's nice to see how all of the contestants really help Scott. I can imagine its hard up there on that stage not being able to see.

I think they'll end up saving someone like Danny, Adam or Allison.

I agree lydia that many artists today look too thin. I just thought that Kelly looks bloated. I said to DH that maybe she is on some medication that made her look bloated. I also thought the judges made the right decision not to "save" those two contesants.

I think the theme for next week is Country. I read that Carrie Underwood, Randy Travis and Brad Paisley are going to perform.

I didn't mind the first performance, didn't watch Kanyee. I totally agree that Kelly needs to hit the gym, she is way too heavy. I think the right ones went home.

Sam I think your comment about Kelly is very rude. She is not fat by an means!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And "letting herself go"? Please!!!! Give me a break.

I kinda liked the group singing thing, but I loved the Jackson 5 growing up and that song just makes me smile, dorky as it was.

Keene West or however you spell his name was horrible. Lauren and I both commented on how, if he were a contestant the judges would kick him out of the competetion. He wouldn't have made it through the auditions.

Kelly Clarkson is fine, not everyone can or should be a size 2. I'm a little annoyed at your comment, Sam, because I have a 12 year old who thinks she's fat along with her best friend who is on a diet. I told her the other day that dieting just makes you fatter and she doesn't want to end up like me. It's sad when a perfectly fine for her body type young girl thinks she has to diet. This is the very reason I'm obese now, years of dieting. I weighed 119 lbs when I first started, if I had not started that first bought of dieting I really believe I wouldn't be this big right now. I hope Kelly Clarkson realizes that she's fine the way she is and doesn't try to be a twig like the rest of Hollywood.

Oh, and I really liked her new song. I was wondering if she was ever going to put anything new out. I may have to buy her new album, er, CD. (I sure am getting old)

I agree that there are too many people in show business that think they look good as a size 2 but Kelly looked like a 16-18. I'm a 14 and I know I need to lose lots of pounds.

She might be a size 12. I'm 5' 1" and when I'm at about 190 lbs, I wear a size 18 so I know she's not that big!

Kelly has put on a little weight, but when she was on the first Am Idol, she was no skinny minnie. She is a pear-shaped woman with a small chest, just like yours truly. But, I have to agree, the outfit did nothing for her. I really don't care what size she is, she sings gloriously. Way too much emphasis on appearance and being a stick these days. Size 0 is the new 6 which used to be size 10 which used to be size 12. I'm guessing size -2 is next.

I thought that Kelly's hair looked bad but I was actually happy to see someone who looked normal instead of looking at a stick. When we judge a person's worth by their size we open the way to anorexia and other problems. Since when is a size 14 huge?

Ok, so Kelly is just a bigger girl...who cares??????? There are lots of people heavier out there than her, and I'm sure none of them want to hear that they've "let themselves go". Gosh, I'd hate for you to see me right now, 25lbs heavier than I want to be. And baby weight isn't my problem, that's all gone!

Kelly is a singer, not a runway model. So she's gained a few lbs. Maybe she could use some working out, but don't we all have things we should be doing and don't?

As long as the singing is good a person can be any size they want. I can't sing and I need to lose weight....LOL, so I can't judge anyone for either one. I agree with the results for this week...the new format is great. I really liked Kelly's new song....she's had a few that I've really liked. NOT a fan of Kanye West at all...that's why I record the show, I can skip right past the commercials and singers like him :O)
