Siding Color for Brick-Front Colonial?

Hi everyone,

We have a 1972 brick front center-entrance colonial (a 5-over-4-and-a-door). Currently the sides and back are painted white, but we want to change that. The trim will stay white, but we want the shingles to be a different color, something neutral and sophisticated. We had just about decided on SW Barcelona Beige, but our neighbors a few houses down just painted their house a similar color. Argh!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a lighter, neutral, sophisticated color that will look all right with the brick front? Perhaps a "greige"?? The brick isn't anything special, color-wise; it's just regular old brick...

THANKS!

Rebecca
