Oh darn it! Working last night and missed it....details please.

They rehashed what had happened the previous night but they did have audience participation. I was surprised the audience wasnÂt more upset then they were. Melissa wasnÂt on but did issue a statement that she is okay and doing better than ever. If you go by appearance Molly and Jason look happy but I still donÂt think it will last. At the end of the show they announced that Jillian is the new Bachelorette.

I was also surprised that the audience wasn't more upset. I sure wish I was there to voice my opinion lol

I wish them the best, but my gut is telling me that it won't last. I didn't think Melissa was right for him either. Chris Harrison will be on Ellen today. Melissa will also be on this week, as well as Jason and Molly.

I think Jillian is great and can't wait to watch the bachelorette.

I might be in the minority but I love that Jason picked Molly. He realized he made a mistake when they went private and apparently Melissa wasn't as stimulating to be with like Molly was. The first night I watched this I picked Molly and Jillian out of the 25. I like Jill a lot and always liked Molly. Melissa, not so much, altho I pitied her. But she was aware that all was not well. It's not like he sprung it on her. They had been talking and it was in his contract to go on air with it.

I am so happy that Jillian is going to be the new Bachelorette. She will be a breath of fresh air for that show. It needs a lot of fresh air.

The only thing I liked about Melissa was that she was from Dallas (LOL) Her nasal twang would have driven me nuts. I think it's great he realized his mistake, but to do it on national TV was too humiliating. I'd like to know how much of this show is contrived--I'm betting each Bachelor gets more and more rehearsed and planned. I can't believe I watch such drivel, but I do!!!

I hear ya, Vannie, I get so mad at myself for watching this dribble, but i do. The show seems to get more slick and scripted with each season. One thing I've wondered, all of the ladies wear such beautiful gowns during the show, I doubt if they can afford to buy them, so they are probably loaned to them, or I wonder if they are able to keep them. As for Jason, I''m still wondering if he is the type that enjoys the chase more than the catch.
I may be wrong, but I think there has been only one marriage that has come from the show, Trista & Ryan. Last I heard the pro fisherman and the gal he chose were still together, but not married. Why do I get all caught up in this!!!! Somebody Stop Me!!!! LOL Dottie

ellen had the host on the show yesterday, he said they were floored that all this happened, but he believes that he's happy now with his newest choice. they are not engaged though, but working on their relationship.

he further stated that those associated with the show are disappointed that all the message boards and whatnot believe the show is scripted - it is not.

apparently his ex wife is alive and well living in seattle; makes more money than he does and she's the one that pays child support, although the little boy spent time with her while he was off playing with his harem, both this time and the last one. he supposedly makes 60,000 as an insurance salesman and lives in an apartment, while the ex makes over 80,000 and owns a home.

all those girls that thought they "lost" got away at a good time.

ellen is supposed to have melissa on today and then jason and molly tomorrow. i hope melissa is forthright in what happened or what she perceives as happening.

"he supposedly makes 60,000 as an insurance salesman and lives in an apartment"

There was an episode where some of the girls went to Seattle, and Melissa had a date with Jason, but Ty didn't want his dad to go out that night. So, the limo took Melissa to Jason's house. It was a house, on the water, not an apartment.

It was not his house Lindsay.

It was a prop that the producers thought showed the lifestyle of Seattle better than his Apartment.

Yes, it was his "show" place just like the house the gals live in, together during the taping of the show. Dang, I keep forgetting to watch Ellen, so if anyone does, please let us forgetful ones in on what Melissa said and what Jason and Molly sayd. Dottie

I wonder if all the family homes are staged ones too, because I think it's awfully weird that they all live in really big, nice homes.

Jason is going to be on Bonny Hunt's show on Monday 3/9

If you guys check, the fisherman and his fiancee have been busy... He's had to bail her out of jail a couple of times, for beating up on someone and then on him. They are still together, though.
