Such pretty frost photos. That particular kind of frost is hoar frost. I googled it and found out there are three kinds of frost. Here's what it says about hoar frost. Hoar frost occurs when water vapour touches a very cold surface and freezes on it instantly. This can happen to the leaves and branches of plants, and will cover them with ice crystals that look like spiky fingers. It can also occur on other freezing surfaces such as soil and metal, and so can often be seen on cars. Hoar frost can occur at higher temperatures than rime frost  usually when the air temperature is around 0°C (32°F). However, the ground is usually much colder, and the air must be moist for the ice crystals to form. Compared to so many of you, our snows in northern Mississippi look more like a heavy frost than a snowfall.This is Anna and was taken the day after a snowfall a few weeks ago.

lindyluwho, fun photo - looks like a good time:-) socks12345 - my late grandfather's friend lives in the park, too, and has a granddaughter that's supposed to be involved with the SPCA here. She's coming to visit him tomorrow, and we're supposed to meet. It might be a bit before she can foster her, though. I think we'll wind up seeing if she can be with our dogs for now, so at least she'll be enclosed. Our dogs are small, but still at least 2x's as big as she is... She's so funny looking and cute, and wants to be loved so very desperately. She'll make someone a great little house dog, and be their shadow, I think:-) She will need training, but she's smart and young. P.S. The same thing happens to loose dogs here. In all the many places we've lived, we've never seen as many strays as here:-(

U.S. marshals and deputy marshals provide the Federal courts with protection while making sure the judicial system operates correctly. Their job description includes shielding Federal witnesses, transferring Federal prisoners, providing security for Federal judiciary, and supervising criminal enterprise assets in custody. They have the broadest range of authority of all Federal law enforcement agencies and work in virtually every Federal law enforcement endeavor. U.S. marshals also track and apprehend Federal fugitives. Our son has gone as far as Bangkok to bring back a prisoner, he used to travel a lot more than he does now. It is a political appointment.
