Jodi we've got Lupins in Newfoundland too! (we call them Lupins, I believe everyone else calls them Lupines) They bloom in late June here though.

Casey, I was wondering if those were Lupins. The only other places I've seen them were in Ushuaia, Argentina where the ships leave to go to Antarctica and the coldest part of Japan. Again, another hardy wildflower.
