I feel ya on the painting. But isn't it nice when it's all done, new and clean? Same for the glasses. Not a fun job but looks so nice. I love your cupboard.

At first glance I though...okay. But looking at your beautiful and expansive collection I understand what a task it was! Looks like your guests won't ever be disappointed by wines served either in inferior or inappropriate wine glasses.

I can't think that's too many wine glasses....I see bordeaux and champagne and brandy and a lot of white wine glasses.
I think you need to keep them and throw a really good party!
I have easily than number of wine glasses, but not in a glass fronted cupboard!
The new paint looks wonderful and the cupboard is beautiful!!

Actually, its drying them that I hate! It all looks beautiful, Ann, the cupboard is just beautiful and I'm sure you're happy with the room now that its painted. I hate painting too :(

Like karen, I love the cupboard. I painted a couple of panelled walls in my living room, then gave up, tore them out and drywalled the place. It was a bad move, LOL, what a mess. I shoulda just painted.

I really like that color, it brightens up the dark wood cabinet. I'd sure hate to wash all those glasses, though.

I have my own collection, of course. One is from the wine tasting at Wilson Winery in California, one from Curie winery the same day. Four from Black Star Farms, much smaller, and a dozen cheap ones I bought at Marshall's for the Michigan Run because I wanted to put fruit in them. (grin) It doesn't take much time to wash 'em and I think I used iced tea glasses for Sangria last time....

The wall color looks great with the chairs. I've given up on painting myself and found a reasonably priced painter.

That is quite the wine glass collection! I have one all-purpose size and I only have about 10 of them. I'd have more, but I have no place to store them.

I have more martini & cocktail glasses than wine glasses now, including martini glasses that light up in the dark, LOL.

I must have been deprived in another life...because I have lots and lots of wine glasses.
My problem is I like to have a dozen, so when I break one or 2 of the dozen, I have to buy another dozen....but theres nothing wrong with 10 matching glasses is there?

I have 10 of one kind of champagne flute and 8 of another and 11 saucer champagnes....and 9 or 10 of one kind of wine and 9 or 10 matching water glasses, and 12 of anothers et of wine and only 11 matching waters and 10 nice blown bordeaux glasses...and another set 8 of rather ordinary wines...and several boxes of the remains of sets of 8 of ordinary wine glasses...in case I should have a large party and need a bunch....
And then we get into the stemmed water glasses that have no wines to match...
Some day we can talk about plates....

Beautiful piece of furniture Ann. I see some nice hardwoods too. I guess you didn't use the DW for this chore. My shot glass collection is due for a good cleaning but I'm just not motivated to take it on yet.
