Hi, I would like to paint my front door and paint or stain the floor of my front porch. We plan to keep the house color white with brown trim. The porch floor is basically a wood deck with boards installed on an angle. The front door is a warm wood tone but I don't think it coordinates well with the dark brown trim. I was thinking a bright apple green door might look nice with the brown. As for the floor, I was debating painting it the same brown as the trim, painting it a tan color (not sure how light or dark to go), staining it the same reddish brown color as our fence and back deck, or even painting stripes or using a stencil to jazz it up.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Specific paint colors would be great.
