Cool, thanks gals. I took tons of photos of the little guy. He was so cute and friendly. He had a huge raven hanging out with him who was also looking for a hand out while we were sitting in our rental car waiting to go through a tunnel that is one-way and flows north on the hour and south on the half hour for 15 mins each time. More on that later. :-)

Yes, I have three ducks and a chicken. My daughter-in-law teaches and Burt was hatched in an incubator as part of a biology project. At the end of the school year he needed a home. Two years ago we raised chickens to butcher and kept one for the eggs. Actually we kept two, a hen and a rooster, named Rufus. Last spring Rufus got mean. Twice he attacked Bigbaby in the yard. He came after her trying to claw her with his talons. She was yelling at him and throwing her water bottle at him and he just kept coming. The next day he was in the crockpot. He was huge. We had dinner for five, the next day chicken salad sandwiches for four, and there were still some leftovers. I realize some of you will think this offensive. But, I grew up on a farm where we raised most of our own meat in addition to having a large vegetable garden. Meat comes from animals and not from the grocery store. Ron

Bigack, I'm pretty sure your town is one of the Cinque Terra (Five Towns) on the west coast of Italy. There are 5 small towns linked by walking trails and also at least some of them are connected by rail.I wasn't there but, my daughter traveled there when her husband was stationed in Italy. The next time I get to taly this place is on my to do list. I think the color has been enhanced on your pic. This is her picture. Ron
