Am I just not seeing a thread on this, or has no one started one yet?

Well??? What does everyone think after the first round of dances? They will all dance again on Monday of next week, then on Tuesday one male and one female will be eliminated. Based on what we've seen so far, which ones do YOU think will be sent home?

I was surprised at how well Priscilla Presley did. I'm not sure WHY I was so surprised.... maybe it's because her face doesn't have much movement, that I thought her body would be very stiff, too. :-0

And Marlee Matlin did amazingly well!

I'm thinking that Monica Selles will be the female to leave; and the bottom-ranking male will be either Penn Gillette or Adam Corolla (is that his last name?).

I wasn't impressed by Priscilla's number. She seemed stiff and not really enjoying herself. I loved Marissa (the gal from Hairspray) and think she's got a good chance to continue on till the final. I too agree that Monica will probably be the first female to leave.

On the men's side wasn't impressed by Adam at all and I think he'll be the first male to go. I really enjoyed watching Christian's number and think he'll go on to the final round also.

Priscilla's dance might improve but her face will not unless it cracks and I think the tennis star will be the first to go, she will still miss her prom, what is her name? But we are in for a good show this year. I just love to see how they improve and it shows what practice will do for us if we try.

Melissa won?! How cool is that? She's the one who hadn't won a mirrorball, wasn't she? They keep saying they're not in love. But then, Val said, this'll be a good dance to show our love last week. So who knows? Kelly's good, but she's nowhere as good as Shawn or Melissa. Melissa had one bad dance I can remember. The rest were stellar! Most of the dances this season were stellar.

I agree lindy, I was rooting for Riker. I'd never even heard of him before DWTS. I think it's much easier to make a girl look good with the sexy outfits and flowing gowns. Rumer was fantastic but there was something so edgy and cool about Riker. That boy could tear up the dance floor. I do wish they would stop having people like Patti Labelle, and Jerry Springer, and Cloris Leachman and that idiot rapper they had one season who wouldn't even pick up his feet. They dancing from Riker and Rumer was fabulous.

I'm sorry she's ill (I'm still skeptical), but I think Tamar is an arrogant, self serving, show off. I won't miss her. I've watched most of the DWTS seasons and I don't remember disliking anyone as much as I dislike her

For dance performance, Jordan could have won on the first night! It was hard to tell that he wasn't a pro. Lindsey was just lovely and grew as a dancer. Frankie doesn't have a dancer's body or moves, and he's older than the other two, and he's what draws me to DWTS: he starts out excited but knowing he's at a deficit, is willing to take it on, takes advice, learns, and finally dances. Not at the same calibre as the others, but dances nonetheless. All three could have shared the title!

There was some good dancing but for some reason I can't get into it this season. Maybe because I don't know most of them. None of them are too good yet. I too see the tennis star and that Adam Whatshisname leaving soon.

Monica is the tennis star. She looks like a nervous Celine Dion to me. I agree, she and Adam will probably be the first to go.

Priscilla was surprisingly good. Her face is unfortunate because it is so distracting.

Marlee, Shannon and the beautiful NFL guy did better than I expected.

I agreed with the judges that Marissa's weak choreography did her no favors. I hope she stays so we get a chance to see what the Broadway star can really do.

Kristy and Mario are my favorites so far.

I, too, can't seem to really get into it, at least not yet. Probably becase I'm not familiar with most of the people on there. I think Monica Selles & Adam Corolla will be the first to leave. I really enjoyed Mario, but the girl from Broadway drove me nuts-o for some reason.

I hate to see Julianne go so soon, but she got a partner that won't be there long IMO. He does talk too much!
Yes, Priscilla'a face is very distracting to me too. It looks painful.
The Hair-Spray star, has got to calm down! I think Tony will get her to do that.

Agreed. She does need to calm down. The actor from Three Men and a Baby should dial it back a bit as well.

Priscilla's face looks like a mask. When she smiles her mouth reminds me of the Joker's smile in Batman, with the high stuffed cheekbones and the downswept upper lip.
She's ruined herself, IMHO.

Who are these doctors that are willing to sell themselves? Just because a celebrity wants a cosmetic procedure doesn't mean they should have it done. It may not be considered medical malpractice, but I don't consider it practicing good medicine.

I thought Kristy was great and I really like her partner.

They showed a picture of Priscilla when she was on whatever show she used to be on and she was so pretty. Her lips drive me nuts. They look so fake.

Me too! I thought it was just me and my skewed judgement. What's up with her face/smile/lips? I don't watch a lot of TV and don't keep up with all of the Britney's and Paris' of the day. Maybe I missed a face lift or something... Does anybody know what's up with her face?! Just curious - I really do think she's lovely and did well but was distracted by her face, poor thing... She seemed to duck her head when she did smile - like she was hiding. Nancy

She had Botox and Lip Injections. Awful! Give it up Priscilla, you're a Grandmother!

The Tennis Girl, if I was her, I would just throw in the towel and go home.

I'd rather see Pricilla go before Monica. I thought it was a good start for her. I guess she got to dress like a princess and go to her prom.
I wasn't impressed with Marissa. This may sound funny, but I've never seen anyone dance with their mouth open so wide for so long. I know, she does have energy but didn't have much dancing to do.

I've always been impressed with Marlee Matlin so I wasn't surprised by her performance. Kristi was wonderful.

One comment on the guys - I have no idea who they are but the young guys are hot!!

I honestly couldn't concentrate on Priscilla's dance steps for looking at her mouth. Doe anyone know if she filed a lawsuit against the doctor that did this procedure??? No wonder she is shy when it comes to public appearances! But, I guess she deserves some credit for attempting this and having people stare at her face. Maybe Graceland isn't doing well financially???
