glow in the dark paint

hello all. i will soon be in the process of decorating my bathroom and have decided on a celestial theme. anyway, i have purchased some "rusty" stars, sun, and a moon. i assume that the stars will rust so what i was thinking was that i woud cover them in some CLEAR glow in the dark paint to keep the bronze color. after that coat is applied and dried, i would then use a clear coat to cover the items to prevent corrosion from bathroom moisture. what cear coat and clear glow in the dark paint do you suggest?

I love glow in the dark stuff! I've tried the glow paint from various stores but they never do seem to get bright enough to make a difference. I wanted something to light up my walkway so I used glow powder from glowinc.com I sprinkled some on wet sealer the placed another coat of sealer on top. It is amazingly bright, still going strong after 1.5 years! I don't see why you couldn't mix the powder in with the sealer for your stars (I'd use a poly on them). I only purchased 1/4 oz (coated in blue), it was enough to do a 3ft by 3ft area. They also sell paint, but I haven't tried that yet so I can't really comment. The website also has a message board.

can you see the powder at all? during the day i want it to look like nothing is there. what kind of poly do you suggest? i want to to be clear and not make the stars shiney at all.

I used to run a Halloween event where I worked. I made the tombstones out of plywood and painted them with house paint. I have a book of old gravestone pictures that I used to make stencils for the stones. Then we pounded stakes (the flat ones from Home Depot) into the ground and screwed the headstones onto them. We just used those silver clip on lights (also from HD) laid in the grass to illuminate them. You can drape Spanish Moss and cobwebs over them to make them scarier. They worked great.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but I saw these beautiful flower pots on Pinterest that were painted with glow in the dark paint. I purchased pots and paint but noticed the paint (brush on variety) says 'indoor use only". Have any of you done this and if so what paint did you use, please? thanks, mystmaiden
