Thanks Minnie and Lia. I do hope that my friends and family enjoy my cards as much as I enjoy doing them. Here are the other cards that I've made. As you can see, I like water towers! LOL 2001 - the snow is wishful thinking! 2002 - My 2 youngest sons on their horses and Jammer and I on the bike. I'm already thinking about next year's card. Our town is so small that I'm really limited to themes. I'm thinking about using a picture of the church. It's been there since I was an infant and the steeple is visible from all over town. I don't think I'll have Santa driving his sleigh over the steeple, though! LOL Maybe an angel would be more apprppriate. I've also thought about the old theater that we all used to go to. It's no longer there, but I do know there is a photo somewhere of the big sign that hung outside. Lia, I'd love to help you with your card next year! But no printing!!! Oh BTW...I've ordered a new printer and computer. should be here next week!

Thanks to all of you again. I have never painted our Christmas card before but it was something I have wanted to do for a long time. I wasn't sure about sending it since it wasn't the traditional type of card but so far I have had really nice comments on it. One of my sisters framed hers - she's very sentimental and loves everything I do. Maybe if time permits I will actually paint each card next year - but with eight sisters and 2 brothers it will mean I will have to start early. Thanks again yall.

Thank you! Yes, CB, the chalks are found with the rubber stamps, at least in any craft or stamp store I've been in. They really aren't complicated, at least, once you figure out what you want to do and how you want to do it. Really, the easiest one was the Thoughts and Prayers card. Cut the card stock, lay the template over it, swipe the inked sponge across the template onto the card stock, re-position the template, repeat. Cut whatever shape you want to the size you want for the verse, stamp it, and you are finished! Hmmmmm, sky, torn paper snow, snowman stamp...... Gee, the ideas flow a LOT better when you don't have a headache! It finally went away, but it got worse before that. I finally "rested" in my chair for about 15 minutes, not really sleeping, but not awake, either. I really need to think of something simple for the exchange, because I'd rather do postcards than full cards for cheaper postage. Which means nothing fancy with lots of layers to get caught in the machinery at the post office. Tami
