Aluminum foil doenst protect against skimming, skimming is a result of a cloned card reader taking that info and storing it, most of these happen when your card is out of site, as in a restuarant, gas station ect, usually by a legal employee who has your card. In fact the vast majority of small time scammed cards are brick and mortor businesses, not internet or data transfer sites.. THE only thing you would worry about in case of stolen over the air cards is with your "contactless" cards (you know the ones that you can "wave" at something to pay with) You can avoid getting these RFID chips competely, they are only abourt 3.5 % of the total amount of cards out there, dont bother with pass techonology, all of these machines have swipes on them. If your worried about that, call your card company and request if your card is a RFID card or a contactless one, you can cancel it. Shield, aluminum foil may or may not in fact protect you from scam readers. There are a few misconceptions about cards now, federal law limits your liablity to 50.00, most MAJOR card companies do not hold you responsible at all, the way businesses report this fraud against you has changed as well. If the charge happened over the phone and internet, you have no liablity at all. Unless they can prove that you knew about the charges and didnt contact them, if you do discover something, contact your card companies promptly. This was mostly based on the poor folks who went through the early days , who were held liable and had thier poor credit wrecked becuase of it. Its still wise to protect your cards as much as possible, but frankly, alot of people are more worried about things that will never happen "IE thier cards stolen over the internet somehow" then things that may happen, like some gas station shlep who just took your card #s and is going to have a good time tonight. Hello kennybellew, I understand why you designed it the way you did, but personalty I think the bottom tote is completely unnecessary. It has been my experience that if I wanted to move a water culture system it takes no time at all to disconnect the air line from the pump to move the reservoir. Then moving the air pump separately is so easy to do, there's simply no need (or even desire) to move both together. Also when you move it, it will be to heavy to do without removing (at least most) of the water first anyway, as well as probably the lid with the plants if they are larger than lettuce plants. So adding the cumbersome bottom tote just adds to the problem trying to move it all at once. Trying to move the whole thing mid grow at once will likely need two people to do effectively. Also with only supports at the sides, the weight of the upper tote full of water will likely eventuality bow out the bottom without a center support. And with the two 2x4's sitting up on edge like that, they will likely fall over to the flat side when you move it. Unless your very careful moving it, and don't allow any water to slosh as you do (taking two people to do) unless you remove the water first. Laying down the 2x4's on the flat side, and stacking them would be much better support (but I would still want a center support). Then there's the issue with the air pump. First the whole idea is to aerate the water with fresh air. The one small air hole you made to get the electrical cord through the bottom tote, may or may not be enough to allow enough outside fresh air to circulate to the air pump. If it dosen't then you will reduce the air bubbles you get, and eventually burn out the air pump. I wouldn't connect the pumps two air output lines, but rather use two lines and air stones for a more even distribution of the air bubbles. Lastly the salts in the nutrient solution will eventually/shortly clog the one way check valve, reducing and even completely stopping air from getting to the air stones. You can completely eliminate the need for the check valve in the first place if you keep/set the air pump about a foot or so above the water line in the reservoir. Then even when the power shuts off the water wont be able to get back to the air pump, and there wont be a check valve to clog.

When I first saw a CC in real life my *VERY* first impression was "why the heck did they ruin the cooktop with a piece of stainless" (second was the oven looked small) I don't even like cleaning the stainless backsplash on my BS, so I couldn't even begin to think of how hard it would be to keep the stainless looking good. Option B would be to not be neurotic about the stainless and let it patina, but that doesn't really look as good as cast iron patina.

This was interesting. DH and I went cabinet shopping this weekend - I had already been, a bit, with our KD, but now we are getting more down to brass tacks. The Lemans thing did look awfully nice, for the reason the OP mentioned - the whole thing pulls out. We saw two different installations called "magic corners," one each at two different stores. The first store didn't have a brand, the second was labeled "Magic Corner - Comfort" by Kessebohmer. It was a LOT smoother opening this second Kessebohmer one. It was also easier because there was almost a joystick part that one pulled, that worked it (see the black thing on the right in http://myshop.s3-external-3.amazonaws.com/shop1318600.pictures.magic%20corner%20comfort.jpg). The first unit, one pulled out the top wire shelf itself.
