Good job. Pretty and different. The oval mirror makes a strong impact. For accessory colors, I'd say look at the mid and light colors of your tile. A deep, rich gold perhaps; not the kind of gold that is brassy but an organic gold, if that makes sense.

That looks great!! I have a few questions:
Since you have worked with this wallpaper, do you think I would be able to use it over tile? I have hideous pink and blue tile in my powder room. I tried painting it, but I don't like the way it came out, so I was wondering if maybe this would work over the tile.
I recently saw this type of wallpaper in a catalogue, but I don't recall which one, where did you purchase yours?

For towels and accessories, I'd lean towards a slightly lighter tint of that gorgeous wall paint. Play up that fabulous color --

Polly - There's a 'wallpaper liner' product that's designed to bridge cracks and prep less-than-smooth walls. That might be something to consider if you decide to try it.

That looks really great! Are you towel bars mounted below your chair rail?

I ordered the paper online. Graham and Brown was the company- they were wonderful to deal with. I ordered a free sample which arrived about 2 days later in the mail. The sample number is #15274. It was $25/double roll.
Polly, I do think you could use it over tile, but I think you might want to use some joint compound over the grout lines so that your wall will be fairly smooth once you apply the paper. It does hide a fair amount, but I could still see a small ripple in the wallboard through the wallpaper once I finished. Maybe you could order the sample and see what you thought? The sample is fairly large (approximately 8"x10").

Brownie4- your wallpaper looks great! I was thinking of beadboard in my son's bedroom on the lower 1/2 of the wall, painted a dusty denim blue. I had no idea that there was wallpaper out there that mimics the look. You've given me another (and hopefully more economical) option. Can it be painted?

For towels, I would also suggest a silvery gray and a khaki tan.

Looks very good and ditto me on the gray for towels. Not a dingy gray but a pure silvery or pewter gray, like Restoration Hardware's Stone or Graphite. Maybe it's my monitor but I'm not seeing any warm tones in the floor tile at all, so I'd want to keep rolling with the cool blue/white/chrome.

For towels you can use just about any color. What's your favorite? Ditto the artwork. What do you like? I can see a couple of botanicals in there with kelly green towels as a surprise, or just stay with the blue and white, or red, orange, gold -- you could do about anything and pull it off.

It really looks great! Was this a pre-pasted product? How do the seams look? I am really thinking about using something I've found that looks very much the same. We have a tiled wall that has been wallpapered over. The old paper is sound but ugly. The store I saw the paper in advised us to use this product right over the old wallpaper as long as it was sound and not peeling.
What do you think?

Thanks everyone! I love the idea of the pewter colors or lighter shade of the blue for towels and accessories. I was initially considering red but that seems too nautical.
Mush- this is prepasted but I used paste too. I think it makes wallpapering easier since it slides a little bit more with the paste. I think the seams are invisible; I really pressed them down good. The seams look much like the real thing does when you add each piece of the wood paneling.
My towel bars are above the chair rail. I had to use the sink height as my chair rail guide.
I think the wallpaper liner which someone mentioned would be a good idea to prep a tiled wall before papering, but this textured paper is quite thick compared to regular wallpaper. Order a free sample and see what you think. I personally would not put this up in a full bathroom just because I have had horrible experiences removing peeling/lifting paper that resulted from my kid's excessively long,hot,steam-laden showers.

Yes -- I echo the excellent suggestions for fresh white, silver and graphite gray for your towels.

For a change -- or for a party -- simply switch to a few brightly colored ones -- lime green etc.

For artworks -- how about simply adding black-and-white photos?
