A Magic Eraser taken to any paint film is going to remove some of the final finish. Magic Erasers are good for lots of things but should never be used on a painted wall IMO. When light hits the scrubbed spot just right, you can see how the Magic Eraser left an uneven finish behind. SuperPaint is honestly one of the best values on the paint market today. Value meaning you get a lot of good stuff in the can for what you pay. Including a perfectly lovely final finish/result. Especially if you hit it on a sale or have coupons. But Super Paint is not a top tier can of paint. The more upper tier, better grade of paint you go, the more durable. Usually. In general people take the notion of "scrubbable" too far with all tiers of paint. Better grades are going to be tougher, but they have limits. You can only clean within reason. There is a breakeven point where you have to objectively look at the ding or scuff and determine it needs to be touched-up, not scrubbed.

Also usually a BM loyalist (Regal Select is my fave), but just recently broke with that and used SW Emerald interior matte to repaint a bedroom the previous owners had painted a DARK, almost black Navy. The Emerald was recommended for covering the dark with a much lighter color (Sea Salt) and since the coupon brought the original crazy high price to the same/equal to what I usually spend on BM Regal, I went with it. I was (am) impressed with the coverage and the paint formula in general, 2 coats and the navy was nowhere to be seen.

ah, thank you latifolia. I misread that. Maybe they got orders mixed up?? double check w/the contractor and see what happened. If you're paying for SW (which BTW, is having a 30%-off sale at the moment) then you need to be compensated for the diff. (if you go w/the Behr) I've used it throughout my home (as well as BM) and have never had issues with it at all. I've painted w/pretty much every paint under the sun and like Behr. Unless you're getting a deep, saturated color, there really isn't much diff. John, did you pick your color from the SW color deck? if so, and Behr did a color match, it may not be exactly the same. So before committing to having all the walls painted, have them try a sample of the Behr (if you plan on using it) and see how it looks once dry.
