Can you imagine the advertisers' feelings, too! All that money (well, the Budweiser ad was worth anything!), but they know going in that if the score quickly becomes lopsided, a good portion of TV watchers turn the channel.

I saw the lineup for this year's Puppy Bowl -- so darling!

Well Seahawk fans were not disappointed.

It's going to be crazy around this town and every other in WA..
It's been crazy..but oh boy here it comes...Folks were shooting off fireworks as soon as the game was over in my neighborhood.. Lol..

Some of the commercials were pretty lame too.

I liked the Radio Shack commercial the best

I didn't have a team in the game, but even if it's my team, when it's that lopsided, it's just boring! We all like to see our team win, but it's more fun when it's a contest. This was like taking candy from a baby.

I am not a Seahawk fan either....

But their defense and offense did their job.

Was hard for me, because I'm from WA, but live in CO.

Really didn't care who won since my Steelers were all sitting at home...BUT, I thought half time, what I saw of it, was very offensive....My hubby and I both thought it was terrible and turned the station....If that was supposed to be "talent", heaven help us......

I just can't get over how huge so many of these football players are these days! I'm not talking about their height but their girth. There was one guy on the Broncos' team who looked like he was a summa wrestler wannabe. What the heck is up with that?

Swore I wasn't going to watch, but I ended up watching the whole thing. The highlights for me were Renee Fleming singing the National Anthem -- I totally got goosebumps and felt all patriotic --- and David Beckham with no shirt. Wowza.

My condolences to Broncos fans. At least they scored once but what an embarrassment.

Most of the commercials were pretty bad. You know its a stinky commercial when you can't figure out what they are advertising.

However, I am running out tomorrow to buy some David Beckham underwear. Sigh.

Boring game, but I though Bruno Mars put on a great half time show. He is a wonderful entertainer. Red Hot Chili Peppers I could have done without.

We enjoyed Bruno too. I thought it was current but also had that old school feel.
Never liked the Red Hot Chili Peppers..and still don't..lol..Not sure what the point of their appearance was.

I think the 3 commercials I liked the most...puppy and horses Budweiser.., Doritos Time Machine and the Chevy truck with the Herford "stud"...

I kind of liked the Kia commercial with Lawrence Fishburne, and the Chobani yogurt with the bear as well as my fav Buds (the horses that is, I don't drink much beer)...

The commercial with the hybrid dog - Doberman and something - gave me the creeps, it was another car of some type ad.

I missed the half time show, got busy in the kitchen. Watched more of the game than I had planned to.

I am so glad Bruno ended with his solo. I would have hated to see Chili Peppers take that spot. They added nothing to the show, unfortunately ruined it a bit for me.

I totally agree that Bruno is both current and old school. Hard to balance the two, but he does it well.

I agree, Rene Fleming was the highlight of the show. She sang the National Anthem so beautifully.

I was disappointed about the commercials during the game but the ones right after the end of the game were quite good. From what I understood, those that chose to air their ads right after the game ended saved $1.5 millions.

As I mentioned a few days ago, my sister lives in Seattle and my brother lives in Denver. After the 1st quarter, the rest of our family agreed to cheer for Seattle. We figured, the one that has a high income will be proudly sending us Championship shirts. That would be my sister and not my brother. Even my brother told my lil' sister that her team should win so he too can get a championship shirt for free, LOL...

Wow, guess i'm not much of a sports fan. I thought the game was tonight. We were camping this weekend and just got home about an hour ago.

TOO MUCH HYPE ABOUT THIS AND VERY DISAPPOINtING. IT FELT LIKE THE BRONCOS DIDN'T FEEL LIKE PLAYING.I didn't like the commercials and the halftime show was just noise..The best part was the Star Spangled Banner at the begining. It was sung the way is should be sung with dignity this is all just my opinion

Seems to be a consensus here, boring game with boring commercials. And I keep hearing, "if the game is gonna be bad, the least they can do is have good commercials. We got gypped all they way around!". We turned it on too late for the Star Spangled Banner and had pretty much given up watching much by the half time show. I have never liked a halftime show. They're always hard to see, hear, and often, tasteless. I wish they'd totally change how that's done.

We watched the game with friends, all of which are seniors, as we are . My husband said of the half-time show, "I guess we won't be having the high school marching bands doing any shows anymore".!

It's all about the productions, and little about the talent, or lack there of. Bruno was ok. Obviously, they try to appeal to a young crowd, with these half time shows. Wouldn't it be nice if just once, they tried to do a show that would bring the level of appeal up a notch or two. Something to show the kids a little more culture. After all, who buys those tickets? Not the teens.

That was the impression that I got as mentioned. Denver just didn't show up. I don't know if they believed their own hype and thought that they would just magically win for Peyton Manning or what. Seattle is directly south of me and a lot of people cross the border regularly to go the games and I have to admit we have adopted the Seahawks and so were thrilled with the win. It's been forever since our city as won anything.

Went to a small party. A few people indicated that Denver would "show up to play" pretty soon. Never happened. I wanted the Seahawks to win, so I loved it!

Sorta like moniker that the cowboys give to the "wanna-be"s...
