Living room/hall remodel. Where should the colours go? Pics!

Hubby is remodeling our front entryway and living room to give us a larger entry/stair landing and builtin storage in the living room. Its time to pick paint.

We've decided to stay very neutral for now because we're still struggling over selecting furniture.

These are the plans

In addition to a new, decorative wall that divides the teeny front hall from our teeny living room, Hubby is repurposing a cupboard (thanks Kijiji) as a builtin in the living room.

The hall walls are presently BM Camoflage which will definitely be replaced. Its too greenish for our liking.

I think the living room is something like BM Sarengeti Sand. I love it, it reminds me of hot cocoa and it has a pinkish hue to it, but its a bit too dark for us.

Our trim work is all white, as is the fireplace in the living room. We had assumed that at least the wooden collumns on the new dividing wall would be painted white. Do you agree?

What about the "new" built-ins? Should they be white, too? Or painted to blend into the wall?

What should be white?

What should be off-white? Colour to be determined.

What should be a the medium colour?

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

...Pam
