It's really not the nitrogen loss from the bark that may cause any problems as mulch. I found through some research that some pine needles are allelopathic and inhibit the uptake of nitrogen for other plants. Not all pines. I turns out the pines that grow in our forest just happen to have the allelopathic pine needles and I have collected the needles and used them to mulch between my propane tank and the garden shed. 1. Frontloaders by nature of their horizontal/tumbling action are much better suited to the low-water HE washing process. Both can have a bit of trouble saturating some kinds of loads. 2. Proper loading of HE toploaders is important, but literally rolling each piece of clothing into a ball is an exaggeration. 3. FLs are generally gentler, but both can be more aggressive than expected due to the low volume of water and clothing items rubbing/abrading together. 4. Both types can tangle. 5. No reason for that to be the case. Washing & rinsing is typically quiet. Any washer spinning a load at 1000+ RPM may generate some noise & vibration. 6. TLs can also develop residue and odor if subject to poor usage habits. 7. A FL boot can be damaged (punctured) by foreign objects such as a nail or screw or pen/pencil forgotten in a pocket, but there's no evidence that they spontaneously fail on a frequent basis. 8. No relation between motor failures and boot failures ... and anything falling through a torn boot is unlikely to literally make contact with the machine's drive motor. 9. Pretty much all appliances are expensive for repairs nowadays.

"since it isn't CSA approved in th configuration you set up, but 30Amps doesn't come into it." So, please tell me what makes it not CSA approved, and what should I change to make it CSA approved? Take note that the only SOW is between the Intermatic timer and the twist-lock plug. Everything else is wired with NM; 10-3 from the main panel to the twist-lock receptacle and from the timer to the breaker panel and 14-2 NMWU to the outlets on the other side of the plywood board, facing the outside, in PVC boxes with in-use covers. Can you please explain what you mean by "30 amp doesn't come into it"? Is my brother's wife right that you can't have a 30-amp subpanel in Canada, or is it just perhaps a local code in the city of Barrie? Thanks.

Well Debi, you have waited a day. How about the guy without much mulch mental muscle taking a swing at it? You aren't wanting to pull back that thick mulch and sow seed below it, right? Your mulch won't know the difference between weed & flower seed if it ends up over the top of it, at some point. Use of mulch on grass seed is probably at a minimal not suppression level. Here is what I've seen people do. They have replaced some of their mulch with potting soil in strategic areas. There, they have sown seeds. Steve

There for a long time, I just was not hungry. I'd be busy, or not busy, and find myself at night thinking about having not had a bite to eat all day. I'd then at least go and fix a sandwich or get a bowl of cereal. I think there comes a point where our hunger mechanism just won't kick in after going so much without food.

Was working, Glenda. Really busy with last minute orders coming in. I didn't realize until this morning that I didn't eat yesterday. Then, I didn't get hungry today and really can't stand the thought of food. Can't say I understand this. I better eat something even though it's late. My head is beginning to pound.

I do not eat cause I am hungry, but eat cause it is lunch time and my only meal is that time of the day!

LOL Sue, I sat here the last 20 minutes or so talking on the phone and typing that short response. I didn't see you there. What is peanut butter fudge? As much as I love both, not even they sound good to me right now. Bet I spend the next week eating everything in sight. hahahaha

And that is why you should NEVER let 17th century mathematicians set rules for grammar.

The concept that somehow a double negative in a sentence cancels the negatives out and makes the sentence affirmative?

Ludicrous.
