Ciao Nicky- I received my parcel on American Thanksgiving, so that was extra super because Duane was home and got to share in the surprises! You really outdid yourself this year with the care and consideration you gave to the inventory list and the quality of the seeds. This is a smaller swap than some of the others that I participate in, but you managed to fill 11 wishes off of my edibles list! That's VERY impressive! The quality of the flowers was also better than ever before, so thank you very much and consider yourself hugged by me!

I also have talked with Pat Vinish, the Hostageek and yes, he does have an extensive list. He has a big sale on right now, with free shipping across Canada and charges no taxes. It is called the green sale and so he has highlighted many of the solid colored ones in his 35 pages of hostas and has them on for 50% off. For every one you order at 50% off you can order any other one in his listing for 25% off. When I compared prices last fall before I ordered from him, I found that his hosta were cheaper than any of the Ontario hosta growers and so, with the free shipping and no taxes, large plants and multiple eyes that they came with, it was a win win situation for me to order thru him. None of the Ontario hosta nurseries offered free shipping and all the places I compared prices of, charged GST. This makes a big difference to the cost of the hosta if the shipping and GST are not added on. Pat is very good at checking his emails and also accurate in his shipping. This is my all-time best beauty secret. I hate mascara: too obvious for my taste, too messy to take off, and can still see remains next morning. So, I give my Shu Uemura curler a quick blast from my hair dryer, then curl. My lashes stay curled all day. Make sure to test the metal against your hand the first few times so you know how long to warm it up to avoid hurting skin around eye. May sound scary, it's not. The rubber heats quickly so you'll only need a few seconds of heat. Use common sense. It's like a curling iron for your lashes.

I would try beauty supply, I sleep in smooth plastic rollers, once you get used to it it's not so bad. Key to sleeping in rollers is how you secure them. I use a wave net tied tight with a satin slumber cap over it. I used scarfs for doing gardening or errands, but they do work as well as slumber caps for holding a set while sleeping
