My DH would be "Turbo Geezer", cause he likes cars, and he's older than dirt! haha, he's only 70.

Twinkie's Twinkie because Flamingo named his that! LOL

I refer to mine as "my other half"...guess because it takes two of us together to make one whole....lol

BYO BOY

Some people pronounce bayou as "by you"...like I have it in my name "byugal"...bayou gal.

Some people pronounce it "by oh"...so bayou boy...BYO BOY.

Clever? Not really. I saw it on a local personalized license plate. I mean, it is clever, but I didn't think it up. :))

Flamey dubbed my hubby Custer years ago.
And I can't remember why but it fits.
And he knows he's known as Custer online too.
He doesn't get it. I just tell him 'it's okay. I'd explain it to you but you wouldn't understand'....LOL

Lori

I would call mine 'Deej" as his initials are DJ. And he's pretty cool about that sort of thing.

Laurel

Jammer is Jammer because back in 2001 (I think that was the year) when we were at Flamingo and Woody's house, Flamey decided that he needed a KT name. She started a contest here at the KT to name him and Jammer got the most votes.

Mine is known as EZEDD,given to him years ago by some of his co-workers because he was so laid back and it took a lot to ruffle his feathers.
Kathi

hmmm....this one is gonna be hard..

his friends called him Hormone in college(its close to our last name)

"the great white hunter" cuz he hunts all the time.

he calls himself shep 44 on a poker site....i guess because we raise sheep and his fave number is 4......

I just call him honey.

Mr. Poopers. DH has gut problems, irritable bowel syndrome. There used to be A TV show with Wally Cox called "Mr. Peepers." For me, Mr. Poopers is a Term Of Endearment.

Flamey named mine ChooChoo when we met, cause he likes trains so much! So, ChooChoo it is! And he knows it! I don't think Flamey called him by his real name the whole time we were together. In fact, I think he was wearing one of this train shirts that day!

Tami

Funny you should say S.O. which means Significant Other

But, do you know what a S.O.B. is?

Significant Other Before

Gayle

I referred to my DH on the KT one time as "My Beloved" and it stuck....He's been called Beloved ever since.

Mr. Poopers? Oh geez, I'll never think of *my* DH quite the same way again. The noises he makes, especially first thing in the morning...

Is this just a male thing or is the consequence of too much beer?

I haven't come up with a name for my DH. I'll have to think about this, though I'm sure I can't top "Mr. Poopers."

Rose

Going forward I will try to remember to refer to my (Dear)BF as 'Honey'. That is what I 'usually' call him in real life, yet refer to him by his given name to others.

Sue

Why, he is DH. That is what his KT screen name is ROFL! If you asked DD she would say "Mr Grumpy Pants" because that is what she refers to him as when he is not in earshot. When he is, she calls him "Old Man" rofl!

Mr. Marv, hence my name, Mrs. Marv. It's short for our last name, but it's also short for Marvelous (a nickname of his from years ago)...at least that's how he'd like to be thought of ;o)

MaryAnn, I really think that Twinkie came up with Jammer originally. I don't remember a whole lot about that weekend, other than that and JustGalore getting named. rofl (Actually, I do- it was a blast with you guys here.)

I get this nicknaming thing from my mother, she's the master of it. And we named my dad "Cap'n Quirk" because he's the man of a million quirks. lol We also call him "Popsomatic". And Mummy is "the Mumster".

Gabby nicknamed Woody for him, she said he reminded her of Woody Harrelson. His nephew calls him Uncle Patch, because he reminds HIM of Robin Williams. Poor Woody, he doesn't like either of those actors. *eg*

My DH would be uni-paw. He wanted that on his truck plates, but is was already taken. Dh is an above elbow amputee, and he loves to make fun of himself. I do have to say, his only hole in one on the golf course was after he lost his arm. He amazes our friends in the "hood" as he can work circles around most of them. Gotta love his sense of ease and humor.

Trin

Dh was called polarbear in college.... i think it should be fshermn

My honey was in the Air Force for 23 years and I call him Sarge. Vique.

John 3:16

My DW is a city girl living out on the farm now. 2 years ago a friend gave us a couple ducklings that she is just nuts over. So, I'll call her Duckie.
Ron

LBODEH...it stands for Left Brained, Over degree'd EGGHEAD! I wasn't the inventor...I just added the EGGHEAD part...if you ever have the chance...listen to Jeanne Robertsons little tale of her LBODEH...

DH's radio personality is "The Doctor", so I guess his screen name would be Doc.

My mom called my dad the Professor as one nickname. The other I can't tell on this forum, but it had to do with his job as a very young man, in the pig insemination business. LOL. Once, my grandma overheard Mom calling him Professor, and my smart aleck little sister asked her why she didn't use the other nickname. Mom promptly escorted sis out of the room and gave her a talking to! :)

Our customers call DH The Doctor. I call him Grumpy, I've never met a man as grumpy as him nor one that whines like he does. I'll just call him Whiner.

Flamey or Gabby dubbed McCloud, McCloud because they thought he looked like Dennis Weaver when he was playing McCloud on TV. If I'm not mistaken, McCloud nicked Twinkie. Twinkie was throwing around a name like Bruno or Bruiser and I think McCloud corrected him and started kidding him about Twinkie suited him better. Anyway, I could be wrong, I was drinking Flamey's margaritas at the time. :)
