Is this acceptable?- Chips in Absolute Black Granite

Well, I am on my second slab of absolute black granite- first slab was installed, and uninstalled because slab had chips in it, which they tried to remove, only making the problem worse. Fast Forward to attempt at second install- New slab did not appear to have chips initially, but now, that it's all cut- the chips are definitely there- Now the granite store is saying that these "chips" must be inherent in all of the absolute black that they have at their store. I am so ready to get this kitchen finished, and this is really holding me up! Is it normal for Absolute Black to have some chips within the stone itself? Assuming that these chips weren't caused by the machine....

TIA,
