Scuffs and scratches in new hardwood floors

Brand new hardwood floors that we have been taking extra caution over the last couple of weeks. DH and I both went away for the weekend on different trips.

The cabinet installer came in the meantime to install cabinets. DH got home first, paid him and then called me to say how great cabinets look. I get home and see the cabinets but more than that, see the scratches and scuffs all over the kitchen floor. I feel like they are everywhere!

Besides taking money away from the cabinet installer bc he may have been able to be more careful...what can we do for these scuffs and scratches? Is there good products to use with hardwood white oak. It has first layer of oil and the rest are water based products.

We may get another coat of poly on the floors after the kitchen is completely done bc the scuffs are all we notice at this point. But we have a 1 year old and know that the floors are going to get messy-ed up soon enough.

What should we do?
