Have you brought home samples of both to your space? They look different in your lighting. So do that if possible. I had started out convinced I wanted a darker granite, and when I looked at them at home I kept setting them aside. I ended up with Bianco Antico. Talk about different.

Take a sample of your cabinet and floor if possible with you too. One might just look much better than the other with your other choices. It might just make your heart sing, and then, you will know.

Good luck, take photos with your cabinet in front of them too, post it here because, well, we love that sort of thing. And it will help you decide.

Thanks. I did take samples home, but they give you such a small sample it was hard to tell. We will be replacing the floor but are waiting until cabinets and countertop are installed to choose floor and backsplash (both will be tile). My husband is very into tile (and the tiler in the family) and likes to see the whole vision.

Another way to do it is to take a cab door sample to the granite yard and hold it up to the slabs. You see a bigger piece of rock that way. See what you think and take some pics.

When they know you are serious, you can take multiple pieces home and put them together to get a better feel. I should have said that.

I drove by the place where we got ours from today at lunch. BG (before granite) I used to go every day or at least a few times a week at lunch, I just loved to look.

I was very very tempted to stop in. Maybe they have forgotten me by now. It's been almost 2 years since I started going in there...
