Love it. Have been watching since the beginning.

I watched the first one and liked it. I've recorded the rest to watch with hubby -- glad to hear that it continues to be good.

I love it. But it infuriates me they show one or two episodes, then replace it with some other program. Then poof (like magic) here it is back again. What's wrong with ABC, are they trying to kill off one of the few decent shows they've had in ages? Grrrrr.

Susan - It's broadcast on ABC on Sunday evening at 8 pm. Although Jannaz is right - it's not on every week. I think you can also watch it on your computer on ABC.com.

New to posting here but couldn't resist this thread. Love the show! I thought the Beauty and the Beast episode was amazing...last nights was good, not great. I too find it annoying that there have been so many interruptions in the weekly broadcast. Two weeks for the next episode...ugh.

I love this show, but I'm several weeks behind in my viewing. I record the episodes, but I haven't had time to sit down and watch them.

We watch it every time it is on as well, and I agree with Jannaz, what a shame that ABC is being so foolish. People lose interest or they find something else when shows are not on consistently. Another show, tho more violent, is Grimm. We like that as well.

Just a thought regarding the hiatus periods....

Television shows are becoming so expensive to produce that very few networks will actually order a full 22 episodes upfront, especially on novelty story lines that are untested with the viewing audience.

Typical orders on new shows are usually 6 episodes with an additional back 9 from the network if the show has legs. Sometimes those hiatus periods occur when the show has completed it's first comittment and is waiting to see if it's been picked up for the back 9.

Also, most networks won't run new episodes during big events like the Super bowl. They won't risk airing a new episode against a sure-fire draw away from it.

I love this show - it's one of the most creative story lines I've seen in years. But I'm getting a little annoyed at David (aka Charming) - he's being kind of a wuss and not very honorable.

Love this show. And yes, the queen is just gorgeous (and I love her modern-day haircut).

I agree with you Joann. I love her hair style! I'm actually toying with the idea of seeing if I could wear that. I keep mine short, but it's a pain.....have to use gel, and when it gets a little longer on top, I use the curling iron (when it's short, it spikes)

I would drive myself crazy in the growing-out stage, I know I would.

I actually cried when MM and David got together a couple episodes back, now they just get on my nerves. I agree about Reginas haircut and the actress who plays her is attractive but the EQ is just drop dead gorgeous.
Does anyone think that August changed the book in some way? Are we allowed to discuss this here?

I was curious about that myself. Did he merely rebind it or did he make his own copy? Many of the characters names have a meaning associated with them and I'm wondering if August has one too. August can mean dignified or of royal lineage. So maybe that plays into it.

I think we can discuss the topic. Just make sure to post a Spoiler Alert to warn everyone if a plot line is revealed.

Some of the other names that have meanings - Regina is the Queen and the name means queen. Mr. Gold is Rumpelstiltskin and in the fairy tales he spun hay into gold. Archie Hopper is also Jiminy Cricket. Ruby is Red Riding Hood. Ashley is Cinderella (who swept the ashes).

I'm not sure WHAT August was doing with the book but there was an overlapping scene (from 7:15am) when Prince Charming goes to look for SW and meets Red. It's where she tells him SW is gone and that she went looking for him. This scene is continued in Sundays episode but seems like it is played out a little differently, or I just may be imgagining things lol.

Jasdip - I didn't notice it at first but when the Genie in the mirror was revealed to be Sidney Glass, the reporter from the Daily Mirror it hit me. I'm not sure all the characters have deeper meanings behind their names but some are really obvious once you think about it.

Sorry about that jasdip! What I was trying to say is Lana Parilla is attractive enough as Regina but as the Evil Queen..wow!

This is a wonderful show...and I never know what's going to happen next! Snow White is my favorite, but Mary Margaret needs to find her inner-Snow White, IMHO :)
