Suggestions to update a traditional dining room
Comments (62)Probably the most frustrating thing about archos, android phones, Zunes not to mention the iPods and iPhones is the fact that they have no movie or DVD converter supplied with them. Or the ones you need to do get are bad. Here are 5 Either get the video in avi or divx format, this is often completed with a torrent downloader. Or should you have the film subsequently put it into your pcs rom drive. 1. Choose the solution to fit your system, many converters possess a set of devices to pick from such as for example android, iPhone, psp, ipad, zune, the record continues on. 2. Hit the convert button and with regards to the period of the movie wait for about five minutes each hour of video. 3. simple to follow actions to place films on your portable media player or mobile phone. 4. Get a great avi, DVD converter and install it on your desktop. Be cautious here as a lot if these contain spyware, more about that later. 5. Lots of people complain that films on their iPhone or ipod itouch have choppy playback, the reason being they have arranged the framerate improper. Plenty of movie converters might be over difficult with adjustments for frame rate, mpeg production and much more. Try to stay away from these because they usually takes an hour of assessment to only put up. Here is a link that might be useful: AVI...See MoreHelp Updating Colonial Style Dining Room
Comments (17)Thank you everyone. I am having trouble typing right now so I can't respond to each of you at the moment but I wanted to clarify that I am not rafor. I tried setting up a photobucket account the other night and I felt like each page just got hung and I'm not sure I ever actually set up an account. Is it always that slow? We have grayish white trim througout our house because we replaced all of the windows in our house with Anderson Woodright windows that were prepainted. I insisted on realwood mullions because I like the look of them architecturally better than the mullions inside the glass. We had to match our trim to them....DH is my painter and he will not repaint them. I will try to add more later. The keyboard on this computer is sticking and making it hard to type right now. Thanks again...See MoreUpdating dining room

In fall, pine cones of different sizes, acorns, etc. In winter, gold, silver, colored glass balls. Spring- dyed eggs With that multi-branched a chandelier, you can have nothing on the table, too, and just get an orchid when you show the house. Another option is to use a beautifully crafted but clean-lined vase such as a Simon Pearce or William Yeoward or Baccarat and you can cut a few branches or stems of foliage from your yard. These vases can be bought second-hand very inexpensively online. They may have minor scratches or etching at the base or in the lower portion, but no one will see that, because they will look at the entire piece. You can also fill the lower portion with clear marbles to hold the stems which will obscure the minor scratches or etching. (Do not use a table runner for the vase. Just a small coaster or a cork coaster cut to size.) The funny thing about silk flowers, when I was young, I could spot them across the room. Now that I am older, I am frequently fooled, even from fairly close. And they have some very well made ones from Thailand. too. But the rule is, no wire hangers, and no fake or dead flowers, so alas, it is what it is, despite our aging and easily fooled eyes:)...See MoreNeed your advice on dining room update!
Comments (1)Repainting is a great way to save money. If you're up for the challenge, that's wonderful! Here are some thoughts to consider: If you're thinking about putting a rug in the dining room, I would decide on that first. It could drive other color choices. I think white for the table would be a good contrast with the floor. Personally, I would paint the upper walls next after the table. The chair rail and moldings below would feel more updated if the whole wall is white. If you were to redo the whole wall (along with moldings and chair rail) in a different color --gray, taupe, or tobacco maybe?-- that could be another step forward. Since your table will be white, a different wall color would set it off as well. After those changes, and possibly drapes with a pattern (buffalo plaid?), then I would reevaluate whether you want to paint the other dining room pieces. Hopefully that helps! (I've got more ideas over on YouTube, if you want to check them out.)...See Moremlweaving_Marji
