I'd like to ask more about your greenhouse and hope the move went well. It is the same model I am thinking about to add to a covered porch. I will enclose the sides of the existing porch, then add this attached greenhouse out to the south. There will be some work space under the old porch roof, with a door coming from the house. There is also a picture window looking into it that happens to be from my bedroom. It will be easy to allow for heat exchange between the house at times with the door and window. I've thought about this for some time but haven't gotten around to doing it. Would appreciate any input about the situation and also opinion on the Sunglo or other attached models. Would really like to see a picture of your greenhouse if possible.

I have ordered from him many times, though not in a long time. Plants are always in excellent condition and relatively large. He also hasa pretty good repetoire of jungle cactus and Epiphyllums which are hard to find some other places. But that is all there is good I can say... (which is enough for most people). On the down side, a LOT (and from my experience, MOST) of the plants are misidentified (or have completely fabricated names). The species spellings are so bad on his old web site (which I see has finally had an upgrade) that even if they species might have been correctly identified, they were so badly mispelled, I sure couldn't tell. VERY unprofessional.. NOT the place anyone who cares what they are actually getting would want to order from. And expect delays! First time ordered I got my plants promptly (relatively)- in 6 weeks. Last time I ordered in summer (July) and got my plants in early November!!! That was after the previous year of ordering in September and getting them at the end of November when it was too cold for some of them arleady. But the more I complained, the longer it took to get my plants, so best to probably prepare for the ridiculous wait and be patient. Compare this to ARidlands.com which has close to the perfect web site: photos of the plants you are getting, and a shipping turn around of about 4 days. And these people know their plants! So I order almost exclusively from them now.

Lucky buyer! ** Another twist. As a seller, I left removing a fridge until late the night before closing. When I came to the door, there was a group of people who had replaced my front door lock with their own and were moving in household goods. None spoke English. A bi-lingual young woman finally appeared and I explained they didn't own the home until money changed hands the next day; and that if they didn't take their stuff out and put back my lock, there would be no sale. (Bluffing, I know.) Fortunately, they did as requested and closed the next day. After that, I made sure that the buyer's solicitor did not get the keys until money changed hands!

The doors are the most expensive part of a cabinet. There’s nothing actually wrong with those doors. They’re fine with a new coat of paint. It’s the old cabinets underneath the doors that have issues. And the layout. The layout is really poor. Save your money until you’re ready to tackle a more involved redo. As in replace and rearrange it all. IKEA is a good budget choice if you want to be handy and DIY. As much as possible. Start planning that redo now now. Putting money into that without actually fixing the problems is lipstick on the proverbial pig.
