Hi. There was no crust on it. When they brought it, they brought out a large plate with the small brie on it. There was a sauce and the caramelized onions on it. The sauce tasted more to wine than any sweet jam. No, it wasn't really sweet. Can you eat the rind? This wheel of brie was just about 1-2" across. I don't know what kind of cocoa you used but unless it's Dutch process, it will have a bit of a bitter taste.....due to the alkalai used in the processing. You can't successfully substitite cocoa powder for semi sweet chocolate.....you are also forgetting that semi sweet chocolate contains some sugar....as well as the cocoa butter removed to make the powder. Here's a recipe using just cocoa powder......it's simple enough, but not outrageously chocolate as Martha Stewart's. But if you try to sub milk for the yogurt or oil for the butter, they won't turn out.....they need the acid of the yogurt, brown sugar and the cocoa to make them light. COCOA FUDGE COOKIES 1 cup flour ¼ tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp salt 5 Tbsp butter 7 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa 2/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup plain low-fat yogurt 1 tsp vanilla extract Cooking spray 1. Preheat oven to 350° 2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. Combine flour, soda and salt; set aside. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat; stir in cocoa powder and sugars (mixture will resemble coarse sand). Add yogurt and vanilla, stirring to combine Add flour mixture, stirring until moist. Drop by level tablespoons 2 inches apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. 3. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until almost set. Cool on pans 2-3 minutes or until firm. Remove cookies from pans; cool on wire racks. Yield: 2 dozen cookies.

Thanks for the link I'll give it a read when I can. For right now, I'm doing a big home cleaning so I really just need a recipe so I can repot my plants to move them into their new place so they can adjust while I move more furniture. I don't want them to get used to being outside or a different room with lower light so I am hoping to do this asap.

I'm guessing that will need at least 40 minutes, probably more. I baked a blueberry coffeecake Christmas morning in an 8x8 pan. Baked at 375 for about 50 minutes. Btw, this was by far the best blueberry coffeecake I've ever made! I used Trader Joe's Wild Boreal blueberries and added chopped pecans to the streusel topping. Blueberry Coffee Cake For the Streusel Topping 6 tablespoons packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, spooned into measuring cup and leveled-off 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold, cut into 1/2-inch chunks For the Cake 2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned into measuring cup and leveled-off 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 teaspoon packed lemon zest, from 1 lemon 1/2 cup milk 2 cups fresh blueberries (frozen may be used but do not defrost) Make the streusel topping: Combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Using your fingers, mix until no lumps of brown sugar remain. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until it reaches a crumbly state. Refrigerate until ready to use. Preheat the oven to 375°F and set an oven rack in the middle position. Grease a 9-inch square pan with butter or nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and granulated sugar until creamy, about 2 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, scraping down the sides of the bowl and beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla extract and lemon zest. Gradually add the flour mixture, alternating with the milk, beating on low speed to combine. Add the berries to the batter and fold gently with a spatula until evenly distributed. Do not over-mix. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the batter. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until golden brown around the edges and a cake tester comes out clean. Let cool in the pan on a rack for about 20 minutes, then serve right from the pan. This cake is best served on the day it is made. Leftovers will keep well for a few days wrapped in foil and stored at room temperature.
