Thank you for your birthday wishes :) Carol, I'm always late myself, I don't seem to catch the forum as often as I used to with life being so busy. That's lovely, is it Pat Austin? I don't remember seeing that shot, so it's as good as new to me. I'm told my plant back in Minnesota did much better this winter than it ever has, so I might just have to eat some of the mean things I said about its hardiness in the past :) I do love those flowers, and their memorable fragrance. Florence, that bouquet is as good as birthday cake as far as I'm concerned - thank you so much! I always wished my 'Viking Queen' would have survived the winter in MN - although who knows, maybe it was virused or something - but it's nice to know that it's such a good rose elsewhere. What a beauty, I remember seeing that name before, but now that I know what it looks like you can be sure I won't forget it :) Sue, heh - well, it was only a lucky guess this time... Thank you all, my dear, dear friends. Yesterday we had one of those days here at our house -- no water for 36 hours, Freya sneaking a pizza off the kitchen counter, and the smell of fresh polyurethane pervading the cold, damp house.... On the other hand, I had the loving affection of Tom and my DS Jacob, calls and cards from family, and greetings from all of you. And tonight we're going out to dinner to try celebrate again. Carla, Luanne, Jon, Anita, Lori, Ingrid, Sue, Carolina, Pamela, and Carol -- each one of your messages brought smiles and memories to my mind. I just realized that with the exception of Ingrid, I know each one of you in the Real World (as opposed to online) -- Ingrid, we'll just have to correct that soon.
