I have both the Pump & Seal and the Decosonic vacuum sealers. I use the Pump & Seal. You can use it with regular jars and it's small, lightweight and not a hassle to pull out, use and put away. Although I like the food saver canisters for salad, the jars get used much more and I haven't used the electric sealer for a long time.
