Should all rooms have the same floor
Comments (1)There are advantages to having all the rooms with the same flooring. The area will look larger The installers can't screw it up. There is less waste, so less expense. You only have to store one box of spares. You can move furniture and rugs from one room to another and it still goes with the flooring....See MoreThis is 1 of 2 adjoining bedrooms. Comments (11)I think you could, but in our ceiling like that, we painted the 45 angles the same color as the vertical walls, and put the white only on the middle horizontal line of the room. It was shocking at how different the room felt. It was like someone finally got the combo just right. We had a light green walls, with only the white on the horizontal of the ceiling... The room felt so much larger! So you might consider that. In your case, if you want to do something different?? just put the blue on the horizontal line of the ceiling and put the white on the walls and 45 degree angle surfaces. Blue ceiling are soooo coool! And ....ne'er a spider will make a web there, really! It is crazy but true....See MoreShould all kitchen appliances be same brand/same finish?
Comments (13)I'll say what I always say even though I know some people disagree. It's a matter of price point. If you have a modest home, then I think all of the appliances should be the same brand. It looks better if the appliances appear as a package instead of a mish mash of random things which can further cheapen the home. If you have a higher price point home and you're going to get high end, specialty brand appliances, then they can be different. But either way, I would stick with stainless for a classic look that will never go out of style and so that all of the appliances are the same finish....See Moreshould I paint all walls in a new condo the same Color?
Comments (3)I dont see any reason why not, if thats what you want. I am not so sure that navy and yellow are coastal colors though. You might get by with the navy, if you chose a light aqua beachy color instead of yellow....See MoreRelated Professionals
