Long awaited granbaby pics.............

Without going into the big story......I got to see the granbabies for 2 days now and they are coming over again tonight......so here they are

They're beautiful, and getting so big!
Steph got to visit Clint (my grandson who is almost 16 and I haven't seen for 8 years). If she wouldn't have told me who he was, I'd never have known. And he still looks like your GK's.

Stacy it's so hard to believe that they are so big. I remember all the baby pictures you used to post. It is sad that you don't have a good relationship with those in control but I am happy that you at least get to see them occasionally...Hard to believe that is the same kids...they are as gorgeous as ever...

So far, I'm really likin' all of them. But I think the H. sipitangensis has grown on me the most. Denise, so far, so good with the Eriostemma. It got here looking a little yellow, lost a couple of leaves, but has really started greening up. I'm hoping it makes it, but if not . . . at least I'll know I tried! :) Carolyn

Your bottom pic is leaf roll (the inconsistent moisture kind since I'm thinking your zone isn't too cool temps prone right now. ;) Inconsistent moisture levels is a common problem with containers - but it can also have other causes such as too much nitrogen fertilizer, root bound plants, etc. Timed drip irrigation is a good idea for containers - just something to consider. Top photo is a bit fuzzy but looks like pest holes and some sun scald to me. Sure it is possible that it's blight but doesn't look classic and since you have flea beetle and aphid damage on the other plants too that shifts the odds, IMO, away from disease toward pests. They - the pests and the old leaves - need to be removed. ;) Middle photo - I'd spray all of them with Daconil just in case. It is a preventative, not a cure, so the earlier you spray the better the control. Then remove the damaged leaves and just keep an eye on it for now. Hope this helps some. Dave

Wow, thank you, everyone, for your kind and encouraging words. Having spent countless hours, taking notes from this site (even when I knew some things were impossible to achieve in this kitchen) and quietly admiring all of your beautiful kitchens, from the big, jaw-dropping ones to the smaller, but oh so lovingly personalized ones, it means a lot to me and my SO that so many of you like what we've done so far. As newbies to all of this, we questioned every single small decision we made, and then questioned it some more, never quite sure if we made the right choice--especially going with practically the same color floor and cabinets--so it's great to get some positive feedback. Except the soffit. We never questioned that decision. We knew those had to vamoose! You should see the ones we took out of the bathrooms! EEEeeeeek! Anyways, thank you so much!

Thank you for your comments--and Boule de Neige thanks you also. By the way, Boule de Neige translates as "ball of snow"--or "snowball." Good description of many of the blooms. Yes, I'm feeling much, much better this year--though the energy isn't quite as energetic as when I was young, unfortunately. Oh Stacy!!!!!! How very very exciting! They are so gorgeous! I can not believe that Gabriel is 8 years old! How on earth did THAT happen!?!? And Levi is 7?!?!? And while I remember Chenoah being born, I didn't even know there was a 4th grandbaby!!!! Hooray! :)

I am beyond thrilled that you have been able to see them again. I know how much you love these little ones and I really hope that this time they aren't ripped away from you again.

Thanks everyone for your nice posts.....actually the other thing I haven't mentioned is there is a 5th.....yes I know....but I can't do anything but anyways it is a boy....he is 5 weeks old now his name is Lakota....he is in the hospital with RSV and phneumia (sp) but doing great responding to treatments his lungs are clearing up......anyways thanks again for all the nice posts....Stacy

Grandchildren are such a blessing, thanks for sharing yours with us. I remember when we got the picture of our newest granddaughter from China but still had to wait a few months until there was a date for us to go and pick her up and bring her home. I kept the the picture on my computer, lap top, i-pod, and anything else I might be looking at during the day.

I know how you feel Stacy...I went through it at one time..but only with one. I know how the heart can ache...

The are such beautiful children...and they look well taken care of.

You must have done something right in raising her...

Thanks again everyone.....Oh I am so enjoying seeing them....I do have to say that when they leave a glass of wine and quiet is what I need....but the joy and noise they are bringing is wonderful!!!! They allll have Brian wrapped around there finger already......I hope they don't "decide" not to let us in their life anymore...because if you could see the joy they are bringing not only to me and Brian but to Sydney and Tanner.....Thank you Patti I guess I did do something right I have to say she has taken on a big challenge and they are well kept and have good manners......and actually they are good in the house just noisey but pick up what toys I do have and say and use their manners.....Stacy

You didn't miss the post or anything Ms Glenda I just didn't say anything as it was/is so hard on me since we were not aloud to be apart of their lives.....but now that we are "in" again.....I had to share......the baby Lakota looks just like the last one Jonah they both have a bit of a different look then the first 3.....they look more Indian is what Brian said??? I don't know I just know I think they are just perfect and beautiful!! And thank God for letting me see them!! Stacy

OMG...I can't believe it!! I can hardly believe how big Gabriel and Levi are and I just barely remember Chenoah!! They're ALL beautiful children!! How long HAS it been since you've seen them!! I know it must seem like an eternity!!

CB it has been since Chenoah was like 3 months old...I had never even met Jonah til the other day (sunday)....and I still haven't met the new one Lakota as he is in the hospital in tulsa.....but I will I don't think they will cut us out again....maybe they will I don't know I am just taking it one day at a time and not pressuring anything....Gabe wants a haircut today so I am waiting on them to get here from school.....Stacy

OMG, I remember Gabe running around in her diapers!! I can't believe she is 8 now!! And her and Levi could easily be twins. I know it's hard, I guess all you can do is hope and love those babies when you do get to see them! I hope that Kasey is safe and Lakota recovers quickly. I know this is an awful time of year for RSV and newborns!!

Thanks again everyone...as of now Teresa Kasey seems safe...but I haven't asked anything.....Lakota is doing really good his lungs are starting to clear up...yes this time of year is horrible for newborns and older people for rsv....Stacy

Stacy, they are so cute! You couldn't deny any of them, they look just like you and Syd and Tanner! Total doll babies! I'm so glad that you're getting to see them, I hope it continues. I think of them a lot actually and want to ask you, but don't want to bring up anything to make you sad. I'm so excited for you!!! I bet you can't wait to you get to hold Lakota in your arms, too.
