Wondering the same thing...only we are looking into the Bellwether bathtub by Kohler. It's a deep, cast-iron tub. It looks like it has clean lines and is deeper than most affordable, non-spa, cast irons.

We bought two Toto 1525's (they're sitting in the garage at the moment). A lot of people here on GW had touted them. When we took delivery of ours (a month or so ago), our saleperson told us that Toto was not going to be making/selling residential tubs anymore. He thought they'd still be making them for hotels and such??? We used a Kohler cast iron shower pan in our guest bathroom, and it looks very nice. The finish is nice and it seems well-made. I'd think their cast iron tubs would be, too.

We are considering the Kohler Hourglass. We like the curves of the tub and that it is a little taller than our current 14 " high tub but not so high that we would worry about our kids getting in and out. The Hourglass is 17" high. The other one we looked at is the Villager but that does not have the curves on the side that we like and is 14" high.
