Relocating Old kitchen cabinets

Hello-

Long time reader, first time to this forum. I am purchasing a beautiful 1920's Dutch Colonial. I have a very large kitchen, with two pantries a mudroom and a small closet. The problem is that there is really no wall space. A bunch a small rooms to make up the kitchen, then one large area that has a very very large sink and a stove and a small eat-in area. We will be gutting the kitchen completely. I would like to pull the base and wall cabinet built-ins from the pantries and relocate them to the main kitchen area. (The wall cabinets are 42" tall with beautiful glass panes) Although right now they are in need of TLC I think that once they are cleaned up they will be beautiful. Has anyone had any experience with this? How difficult, or is it even possible, to relocate the pantry cabinets out to our main kitchen area? Any advice on how to remove them and install them with minimal damage to the cabinets? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
