Don't know what style you like, but you could always embrace it and go with bright tropical colors:oranges, greens, pinks, etc. if you like color. Maybe the landlord would let you paint the cabinet white. You could go another direction then with all white towels and accessories to soften the pink.

Of course, there is always the poodle shower cutain similar to the poodle skirt from the 50s-very retro with touches of black. ;)

EG, I think you can make such a bathroom look charming! I'd probably capitalize on the white...white towels, a white bath mat, shower curtain, even white soap!

One great piece of artwork, a beautiful soap dispenser, & a lovely tissue box cover could add interest without adding clutter.

Also, don't underestimate the power of clean! Once you get in there & really get everything shining...mirror, tub, tile, floor, you will surely feel better about it.

Love Cyn's idea of painting the cab white if you are permitted. If so, give the trim & the door a fresh coat of white paint too!

Have to tell you, growing up we had a pink bathroom with poodle wall paper and shower curtain not unlike the one in your link, ppc! I loved that bathroom!

My dtr rented her apartment because it has a pink bathrom! It must be the tiniest bathroom in the country, but it is adorable. Landlord had it painted a creamy color that didn' t look great; dtr asked if she could paint it bright white and voila! Beautiful! She "accidentally" painted the cabinet under the sink, too. What a difference.

She has pink tiles and fixtures, with white towels, white eyelet
shower curtain, black framed pink rose picture on the wall. Her baskets
are white with pink liners, her bath mat is pink and white shaggy, and she has a black candle on a silver holder. It really is cute!

My friend's mother made their pink bathroom acceptable to her brothers by using brown. It was the 70's, so she used a chocolate-colored wallpaper (I think there was a metallic element to it), but you could achieve a pleasant effect with brown paint.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned gray, charcoal or black. That would be another option if you don't like the white.

I would be looking at using black and white with it -- possibly grey depending on the pink -- maybe both.

Yes - another BIG vote to simply embrace the pink -- and paint one bathroom in simple fresh white with clean white accessories.

And re-do the other pink bathroom in a fun vintage style with a vintage travel poster and lots of colors like black, green etc.

Amazing! You are one of few I know who uses the scanner for real items. The results are always wonderful. Have suggested this many times, but others do not seem to understand the concept. Even something as small as 1/4" can be scanned and enlarged...details are so true.

OK...needing COMPLETE instructions for scanning natural objects. Like, how do you suspend the background to prevent it from falling around the objects (lined shadow box frame?). Give! Please?

I have a flatbed scanner which was on a shelf in a dark area. Turn off room lights too. I think I used some wire to hold the flowers together and placed them on the scanner. I scanned at a high resolution into Photoshop where I retouched any background areas that were not black enough. Thank you all!

I've never seen scanned pictures like that. Definitely use them. They are fresh, colorful and your own unique touch.

I can't tell if the beige works -- Everything looks black and beige on my screen, but you have some lovely greens and other colors (against a black background -- like the prints) in those prints you created, so don't be afraid to bring some of those colors into the towels and accessories.

I love Deny shower curtains! They have four pages of shower curtains to go with a pink bathroom (you can search by color). If you find something you like, search for it on Amazon, and their prices are around $10 cheaper than the sale prices on the Deny site.

Love the shower curtain but I think that perhaps these rooms are way too small to carry off such a large print. Would my black sheer drapes used with my plastic opaque shower curtain liner for the hall bath work if I leave the walls white and use the floral prints in there? The smaller bath (pink tiled shower, no tub) I think I might paint the walls a warm beige to match my towels and shower curtain and have black accents in there. The art will somehow incorporate 3 or 4 colors, like the beige, black, pink and something different like copper. Hmmmm. Fun! Thanks for the great advice!

you could always try to hide some of it with area bathroom rugs. hate to say it, but with pink tile, you're going to have to embrace it! do a modern tropical theme. add some warm browns into the mix to cool it down if you wanted

If you have those scanned flowers on the wall no one will notice if your tile is pink, orange or green, they will be staring at that beautiful art.

My only concern with a black shower curtain is that it could make the inside of the shower very dark. Is there a light in the ceiling inside the shower? If so, the dark curtain might be fine.
Or it might be fine if you like to shower in the dark. Personally I want it bright so I can a.) wake up and b.) shave my legs.

There is a window in the shower but of course that is only good during the day. The curtain would not go to the ceiling or I can also double rod the space and put a clear liner in for use during actual shower time. Thanks. The only light in the small bathroom is above the sink. Bad light fixture too. Ugh.
